Some good restaurants off the top of my head are:

Hurricane's - both their Bondi and Surfers Paradise establishments are good, but Bondi probably has the edge.

The Lowenbrau at the Rocks - good Bavarian.

Grappa at Leichhardt - good Italian.

The Bangalow Hotel - try their chimichanga (sp) if you get a chance.

Mary Gs at Lismore - best pub in the world. The food is good and the ambience is fantastic.

We're going to Sydney in July and we'll be eating at Govindas. It's Krishna food and they have a cinema with cushions on the floor.

I can't do this, but I'm doing it anyway.

I had a beautiful seafood buffet a couple of years ago at a hotel at Darling Harbour. I can't remember whether it was the Sheraton or the Novotel, but I am leaning towards the Novotel. Either way, I believe they both have astounding seafood buffets.

Ahh the Moonlight

Going there tonight (we go at least once a week) Slow cooked pork belly with sweet potato wedges, a cider jus, sitting on a bed of spinach. Oh yeah man......mmmmmmmm farken drooling now......
