Less parents immunising children
May 30th, 2014 at 10:08am

Quote:
Doctors are worried more WA parents are refusing to immunise their children, despite the overwhelming evidence about the benefits of vaccination.

The latest Australian Childhood Immunisation Register figures for the end of March show 4267 children under seven years old have been registered by parents with a conscientious objection to immunisation.

That equates to 1.79 per cent of the 238,384 children under seven in the State.

Two years ago, a conscientious objection had been recorded for 3366 children, or 1.5 per cent of the 224,386 under sevens.

Article

This is a real concern as it can start to effect herd immunity. People seem to have forgotten what the world was like before immunisation.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

A balanced story would have said something about the risks associated with immunisation.

Oh, it was from The West Australian.  Now I see.

why's it always whooping cough that's the "go to" disease whenever vaccination comes up?  That, and polio.  It might be a backhanded admission that the other 20 odd diseases we're supposed to get immunised for are bugger all.

Interesting in the sense that anyone thinks Mercola has anything sensible to say on this issue.

Might be.  But one wonders why you'd bother getting immunised for an uncommon, difficult-to-transmit disease.

Are you disputing the facts and statistics in the article?

No merely disputing the interpretation. Plus its hard to dispute the facts when the majority of the links in the article, just link to more mercola articles
