There is nothing 'less' about a man who identifies as a feminist, because all it means is that he believes women should have those rights.

All grownups have equal political and legal rights. Feminism like other isms, wants to focus on a select group and win privileges, disguised as rights. Human dignity is what matters, not group membership.

A lot of women in Australia are pretty lucky. I personally don't feel like I am discriminated against in any part of my life. I don't need a hand up, but I'm not kidding myself that it is the same for all women here, let alone throughout the world.

We have a shameful domestic violence rate in Australia, for one thing. Do you know how many women are killed by their partners a week? That is a feminist issue.
