Recipe: 2-3 large lamb shanks simmered until very tender. Not a large volume of water..just enough to cover shanks and add more water, if it stock steams away.

Transfer meat and stock to large bowl and stir fry 2-3 large leeks  (cleaned and sliced ) into cooking pot which has been liberally coated with oil..fry down gently and add cup of white rice and saute together..add meat and stock back to pot and simmer until rice and leeks cooked and very soft... add salt and pepper to taste..

Brown onions can be used if you cannot get leek's - 2-3 large. Very simple, just the way cooking should be.

How
DARE
you insinuate my kitchen skills are so bereft of culinary virtue that I have to resort to off-the-shelf mass-produced gunk made in vats the size of petrol storage tanks?

Ooops! Is that the time?!

I'm out of here.  Roll Eyes
