Illegals go Banana's on Manus Island..
Feb 18th, 2014 at 6:21am

Quote:
ASYLUM-seekers broke out of the Manus Island detention centre after being told they would be settled in Papua New Guinea and would receive no help to go to another country.

Immigration Minister Scott Morrison said 35 asylum-seekers broke out of the facility last night, after breaking down a fence, but were quickly returned to the centre.

Broken bunk beds were used as weapons, forcing security guards to don protective gear during the hour-long standoff.

Nineteen asylum-seekers were injured in the incident and eight were arrested.

Mr Morrison said the disturbance arose after a meeting between immigration authorities and asylum-seekers.

He said suggestions that asylum-seekers rioted after hearing they would not be settled in PNG were false.

They were in fact told that they would be offered settlement in PNG, he said.

They were also told “a third country option will not be offered, and that neither the PNG nor the Australian governments will be acting on behalf of the transferees in seeking alternative settlement countries to PNG’’, Mr Morrison said.

He said resettlement accommodation being constructed on Manus Island was “not restricted to being temporary accommodation’’.

About 1300 asylum-seekers are housed on Manus Island in a detention centre first set up by the

Howard government in 2001, closed by Labor in 2008 but reopened in November 2012.

this just goes to prove that they are NOT real refugees...

they are country shoppers...

they want to come to the sucker country that they heard about when Labor was on charge whereby you'd get a nice house and welfare for life and also a legal system provided by Australians which fights against Australians wishes...  Angry

but not anymore...

now that the adults are in charge again...  Smiley

We only know what the media has told us. Thing is: imagine you and your family are fleeing persecution and you get put in a concentration camp then told you are going to a place where its just as bad as you came from. . . . .

There could be dead men, women, and children in Australia's concentration camp.

Show some respect.

These refugees are not illegal … where as the actions of conservatives in the Australian government are.

That's the whole point ...... should be a good deterrent in the long run.

Plus it might make them realise that they didn't have it so bad before.

If you don't want this to happen to you.... don't try & illegally enter Australia on leaky boats from Indonesia.

That's good - escape from Manus to Manus - sounds like a movie coming up :-

"Escape To New Guinea"

.. A story of survival against the odds.

In 2014, a group of desperate survivors of world chaos, trapped in a hell hole of despair and deprivation, turn to their last desperate remedy - Escape!

Breaking free of their prison, they encamp on the island it sits on.... and demand their FREEEEDOOOOM....

I don't know if you're sincere or not

Doesn't alter the fact that many if not most illegals have property to sell to fund their odyssey to Land of a Lifetime of Welfare Money aka Australia

Did you take a look at the photos of the illegals being chauffeured to Christmas Island?

Did you see the latest model mobile phones, laptops, etc?

Did you see the guys with their freaky steroided arms?

Did you see the women and kids in the latest casual gear?

Did you hear in the media they were demanding botox and boob jobs from minute-one?

Did you know they were being handed almost ten thousand dollars in cash as a welcome present from you and me?

Did you know they were 'gifted' as many cigarettes and beers etc. as they liked from the well-stocked 'illegals' pantry' there on Christmas Island?

Did you know many of them were discovered to have played the role of 'illegal' on multiple occasions and in fact already had properties and bank accounts in Sydney under their other false names?

At what point do you, personally, differentiate between genuine refugees and greedy bastards playing us for fools?

Or don't you bother

Whatever the case, the vast majority of Aussies are STOKED to learn they're having a dummy spit up there on Manus

We don't want them.  Most of us say so.  We tried to tell Labor but they refused to listen to the VOTERS, gee

We don't want any more.  We're glad they're being turned away.  And we want a lot who got in to be deported

Meanwhile, down here in Melbourne, we have seats being ripped out of trams now because there is not enough room on them.
Heck, even after ripping out the seats, we will still be in trouble with not enough public transport.

We have roads bumper to bumper even 40km out of town, and no relief in sight, it is only going to get worse.

We have inadequate water supplies, not enough electricity to take us through high demand periods, a high unemployment rate.

We have massive calls on our health care and education systems now, to cater for those without English and those on welfare.

We can't cope with the numbers here now. We should be cutting down drastically on all migration, not just the illegals.
And those who do get in should have some attributes that might lead you to suppose they can survive here without being a drain on our economy.

Yes, all these conservative screamers would be on the first boat out of here, if the situations were reversed.

And good for them, AFAIC.

The only surprise is that it took them this long.

Don't forget about the free Aboriginal land new settlers get after committing approved atrocities.
