Being in love with him, this silly woman romanticised everything about him, including his religion which makes chattels and possessions of Muslim wives, and reduces their legal status to being little better than goats and donkeys. 

For a man to convert to Islam is one thing ~ but for a woman who has been brought up in the liberal traditions of Western values of gender equality, freedom of speech, political democracy, equality before the law, etc... you've got to have serious psychological problems if you feel like volunteering to become a wife to Middle Ages social values.

I think the idea of wearing all those colourful hijabs is also what made her think it would be 'cool' to convert to Islam.

I wonder what her Western values of gender equality tell her as she is herded into a raised backroom of her local mosque to pray out of sight from the menfolk down below on the floor.

Any Western female with normal psychology would tell you it is a crudely sexist and humiliating position for a woman to find herself in.

I hope he occasionally gives her a beating with a rod "not thicker than a finger" as is allowed in Islam by authority of Sharia.
