More women supports Abbott

If true, I wonder if the psychology relates the reasons that many Women tend to stay with abusive partners.

Mnemonic

It was a phoney attack on Abbott, when they asked the hand bag brigade members to define what he dit to warrant the attack, the best they could dig up was mild chauvinistic comments he made.

Gillard has tried many different strategies, she tried about 3-4 during the short 2010 campaign that all flopped and nearly handed the PM'ship to an apparently unelectable Abbott. She has gone on to prove what a fruitloop she is and she needs to go, and now more than ever many are prepared to tolerate Abbott to get rid of her. I often wonder if the Libs put forward an inspirational leader would the ALP vote go sub 20% primary ? It must be a scary concept that an apparently out of control apparently misogynist like Abbott cab beat the ALP down to below 30% primary. We never saw such a low number for the ALP under Howard who is regarded as one of the best Libs leader.

Care to point out where Abbott has been abusive to women ?

Strong words can you back it up ?
The handbag squad could not come up with anything on this phoney attack.

Yes it is about the same size as many other polls and yes ones that show the greens vote going up and down.
I prefer to look at the direct and its been down across the broad for Gillard and down for her party.

Your ignorance is stunning, if you understood stats this is a single poll that more or less says there is no gender issue, given the fact that she has persisted with her misogyny which worked for about a week and now has died out pretty much means she needs to do some more bs focus groups and spin doctoring to find yet another way to attack Abbott. Northing personal there at all  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin ?

I didn't say he had been new incarnation of fred.

My point was about the psychology of making decision not in their best interests.

However there was the incident of the punch and he did got to court over the assault of a woman.

He has over his political life consistently opposed the majority view on about all woman’s issues even though he is now trying to re write his history.

Tony Abbott as PM is not a position likely to help with the issues affecting women.

Your using big words like abusive yet your chicken little on detail

Alleged incident that was never mentioned in the left wing uni rags at the time about 30 years ago ?

Why do we need a male feminist PM ? We have a female one which is dragging back such issues to the 1970's in her misguided pointless gender attacks that are baseless ?

This poll and many other polls on Gillard suggest her personal attack strategy has failed.

Many people who were initially inspired by seeing our first female PM are now very disappointed in her...... this includes males and females, as these polls are now showing.

I think its unfortunate that she had to become PM by back stabbing and its more unfortunate she has presided over the most incompetent government I have ever seen and I go back pre Whitlam.

There is absolutely no doubt that it happened.

Once again I didn't say that he had been abusive, I compared the psychology of women voting for Abbott to the fact that many woman stay with abusive partners.

You specifically asked about Abbott being abusive to Woman which had nothing to do with what I was saying but yes there does seem to be a history clearly there are incidents on record in this regard.

So you know the size of this poll ~ like to share it with us.

Abbott having issues with women, i.e RU486, has been obvious and Gillard attempting to politically cash in on this was a poor move on her part. At the very least she has been consistant (bad moves ~ ALP taking sole parent payments away, which the majority were women).

I would suggest women be aware of Abbott's plan for industrial relations considering one of the hardest hit under Howard's workchoices was casual workers, which women were/are the majority.

Yet the Abbott personal attack strategy has been a huge success. Suppose the difference is if the media gets behind you or not.

If you believe the Media and opposition. Looking at the actual facts the government have been OK - not great but not terrible either.  Hey they havn't illegally invaded anyone.

Looking at the current opposition I doubt that I have ever seen a group less likely to be a success than this mob. It starts with a leader who probably can't spell economy and goes quickly downhill from there.

Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has described a lawsuit filed against him as "payback" for his role in attacking the One Nation party.

One Nation co-founder David Ettridge is suing Mr Abbott in the Queensland Supreme Court for $1.5 million.

"Payback" ~ ? Damn right it's payback. I hope the court takes the shirt off his back, and lets the budgie go free.

Who the hell did Abbott think he was? Who appointed him to conduct an Inquisition on the leaders of a democratically elected party?

If Abbott gets T-boned with a leadership spill just before the election - with Turnbull taking his place - I'll go dance in the street while ululating and handing out lollies to the children - just like they did in Sydney's Auburn when the Twin Towers got hit.

You are basing his culpability on the fact that it went to court?

All matters can go to court - even malicious claims

The courts decide if he's guilty based on evidence

This was dismissed ie the evidence was soooo weak that it didn't even make a smudge

That is because I check myself.
Checking this poll, the size is not revealed.

nearly every thread u enter. let's face it green_snot. every political prediction you have ever made has failed by a light year. even now you cant bring yourself to admit that Abbott will win in a landslide.
