I'm a big fan of it too. I get it whenever I see it on the menu. It is rare though. I only remember it from one thai, one turkish and one carribean restaurant.

If you can get your hands on some goat meat, try a bolognaise sauce with goat meat. ... don't mince the meat, just cut it into pieces and let it stew in the tomatoes for a few hours ... it'll be the best pasta you've ever had.

just a tip, let the meat soak in water with a splash of wine overnight then rinse it off before using it otherwise that goat flavour can be overpowering.

Are you trying to make a statement Monkey boy?

Thanks for turning what was a bit of a laugh into something else.

Did you feel good posting the slaughter picture?

I enjoy eating goat as well as lamb but can tell when a thread is some fun or a serious issue of food preparation. Angry

ah - but this is not about choice - its about relative moralism and the abandonment of the basic Principle of the Universality

I suggest you ask your butcher next time, whether he can get you some cat, dog or filleted poodle chops

yield to your anger not my pathetic neurotic child of insolence.

What carcass slices you place on your hot plate is a matter for you and your therapist

no ...I am happy for you to live by your morals and principals but you cannot shove your morals and principals onto me. ... you don't want to eat goat? fine, I do. and your argument about cat or dogs is stupid . Do you eat vegetables? ..  then eat a tree.  it  makes as much sense as your comparison.

The Chimp brings up a good point. We are hypocrits on many food issues and have plenty of old taboos, as well as a few new ones like whale and dolphin meat. We slaughter millions of unwanted dogs and cats out of convenience. But all that meat goes to waste, when there are plenty of skilled Chinese chefs who could turn it into a tasty treat. They go well on those little kebab on a skewer things.

Generalisations are generally a bad idea. That thing in my avi is a carnivore. They generally taste much better than the herbivores, with a few notable exceptions, like abalone.
