Although I take exception to the comment about the wives. It's one thing to belittle a forum member, but another to cast aspersions on their interactions with family members.

Where is the difference? I am not having a go at you - I'm genuinely curious. Some of the comments that have been directed toward Spot have been far worse than what I wrote about your wives. I'll admit it was probably a silly thing to say, but I don't agree it in anyway even approaches the systematic attacks on Spot. They're ugly, potentially harmful and completely unnecessary. I admire Spot for standing his ground in the face of it all. It must be exhausting.

Anyway, I'm glad you've chosen to ignore him. Anything else is beneath you.

The debating arena isn't meant to be easy. If it becomes too much then there's no compulsion to stay.
I've never fully taken the online bullying thing seriously because you can easily just turn it off and walk away. Not like the school yard where you simply can't get away.

Can you point to a discussion where Spot has debated in good faith?

Just about every discussion. I make a comment and everyone starts abusing me. Thats how it works isnt it? I get suspended if i try to do it back.

amen spot and Annie! the guy can hardly string two words together. a group of housewives in Ireland were sick and tired of being beaten by the husbands so they took the lady to his workplace and shamed him. then waited for him outside until he clocked off and beat the hell out of HIM, LOL. not that I condone violence of any kind, the method spread, and the beatings stopped.

In my time here, no member has ever drawn such fire as spot.

Now what's the most likely explanation for that?

1. Half or more of the forum simultaneously decided to single him out for no reason.

or

2. The guy is a major annoyance, with no redeeming qualities.

In the absence of an 'ignore' button, threads like these (and this isn't the first about him, though I've never seen any about anyone else) are the result.

Its pretty obvious that its the ppl that disagree with me here. They dont like being shown up with facts. They dont like their religion questioned (yet they laugh @ the muslims for not liking theirs questioned). They want to shut me up because they dont like my ideas but they dont have any argument.
