Not a denier, that's for sure. Looks like Flannery was spot on about Perth. Good thing they built that desal plant otherwise they'd be ******.
How long would you think Perth Population can continue to grow, IF there isn't even enough water for the current Population?
How many desal plants could we afford, IF Energy Prices, such as Crude Oil, rise another 1000%, as they did between 2000 & now?
Perth's current dam levels are at only 30%, at the end of July, I can hardly wait to see where they are in March next year?
Finally, most of Perth's water supply already comes from our underground aquifer, commonly called the Gnangara Mound.
That aquifer is already running low & when that gives out, in a few years, WE will have some huge problems!
