pedophilia accusations against politicians
May 16^th, 2012 at 7:17pm

Until now members have had free reign when it comes to criticising politicians. We will now restrict this in some circumstances.

It is no longer permitted to make accusations of pedophilia and similar acts (eg rape, bestiality) against specific politicians, religious leaders etc without corroboration from the mainstream media or claims of personal knowledge (we would expect police involvement in this case).

The point of this is to try to raise the tone of political debate here. I am not aware of any legal consequences arising from accusations against well known politicians etc.

Note that accusing other members, either directly or indirectly, is also not on, as is the case with any personal attack on other members.

Note also that this is not intended to restrict criticism of any organisation or people that fail to make adequate effort to bring pedophiles to justice.

as one who doesnt do that I wont have any problems.. however what about those who constantly accuse anyone, but pollies in particular GAY...

its usually done in spite..and in some cases can be demeaning..and really doesnt have a whole lot to do with content.

there are a lot of gays on the boards..and I dont think its anyones business to be honest..

a paedophile is different.. its evil but to use it as a weapon is bad.
