What is your point?

Galloway makes the point regarding the circumstances of Iraq's invasion, which the Australian people (through our government) endorsed, supported and participated in.

If there existed a register for those who object to say, Anzac Day, could be signed

maybe politicians would begin to get the hint

Or, maybe it could be arranged so that those who object to Anzac Day could do volunteer work on that day and take their forfeited Anzac Day in place of one of their sickies, or have it added to their annual holidays ?

Be interesting so see how many would participate in such a scheme

By this logic we should be invading the USA

Why? We are a vassal state to the US... To invade our overlords would be... treason?

So you are saying that what Saddam did would have been acceptable if he was American?

I'm saying that if the US invaded Papua New Guinea it would be endorsed and supported by Australia.

Actually since you put it that way yeah - prolly. What did he do really? He didnt fly any planes into any trade towers. He didnt have any WMDs (though that would have been acceptible if he was american).

But only because the US says so.

"We were only following orders" ??

That would be no defence in any court of law for any other crime (international or domestic).
