First let us understand how your normal paedophile works.

Most paedophiles are smart; they know what they are doing and often plan their actions out vigorously. Rather than your average rapist who invades someone’s home or whatever and uses force to get what they want.
Paedophiles use a long a sophisticated method called 'grooming' which allows them to become close to their victim and in many cases an authority, elder, wise, trusted or respected figure. Grooming can be done in many different ways like teaching the child and showing mental superiority, giving them presents, protecting them, helping them with a problem etc..
In essence they are befriending that child and hopefully getting as close to them mentally as a long time friend or even family member.
Sometimes the sexual abuse will not come for a long time, but this is all needed in order for the child not to tell anyone about the abuse.


Why is the Church a good place for Paedophiles?

In most cases a priest or someone ordained in the church will not have to groom the child they abuse. Because the child already regards the priest as an authority, elder, wise, trusted or respected figure.
The child’s parents, society and close friends and family have made this child believe that the priest has strong connections with god etc..
A priest holds a very special position in society, and it is this authority that makes it so easy for them to molest children.
When abused almost all children will never tell on the paedophile if he is in the church, this is because of the place that religion is held by those around them. They do not want to disappoint their family, community, god and society. They may feel like they would be damaging their relationship with god who may send them to hell or that they could be damaging their religion.

This makes being a priest the perfect job for a pedo.
Let’s face it, if you were a pedo; you know where you would be working.

All this I have mentioned combined with the church protecting you if anything does go wrong with financial support and covering up your crimes, means these pedos very rarely see justice.
