Too many threads about Federal polls?
Mar 27th, 2012 at 1:09pm

Certainly Gillard and the ALP are in trouble, and it is a subject worthy of discussion, but the plethora of new threads on the subject fragments whatever discussion there is.  The comments are exceedingly repetitive and poorly thought out.  All this, combined with the name calling and other childish behaviour of a select few, which is more the sort of thing that one would find going on in a primary school playground, isn't doing this forum any favours.

Can something be done to control this before it takes over the whole forum?

This sort of thing should be confined to the politicians suck board. I can move threads if necessary. If some people keep chanbging the topic on other boards, please ask them to refrain from this, if that doesn't work then ignore them (and encourage others to do so if necessary).

Yes the QLD election has sent the children into a sugar overdose hasn't it.

I am appalled at the repetitive nature and outright rubbish being put up as a thread.

Me, also.

It's one of the reasons I haven't been on much lately.

If I wanted to read reams of partisan tripe, I''d subscribe to The Australian or the Telegraph.

Sounds like a reasonable suggestion, there are quite a few that I ignore!

Or, after seeing the latest lot of posts, maybe just ignore the forum for a while.....

Abbott will be the next PM and Australia can get back on track to being a great country instead of being run by a bunch of incompetent tards

Job well done

I had meant to include a fourth example, but it looks like something went wrong with my copy and paste.  Anyhow, you get the idea.

*Sure....they're anti competitive as any subsidised job is.  It wouldn't be there without the tax payer.  Very damned difficult for a brainwashed collectivist to understand that I know....  (swaggy) *

This country is obsessed with public opinion polls. To have a poll every fortnight this far out from an election is crazy.
