That's right nem, here is the story. Kudos to these honest men, may others follow their lead.

Dean of St Paul's Cathedral resigns over Occupy London protest

The Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral, the Rt Rev Graeme Knowles, has resigned amid growing controversy over the decision to mount legal action against the anti-capitalist protesters on its doorstep.

He said the clergy had been put “under a great deal of strain” as they faced what he described as “insurmountable issues” and that he felt his position had become “untenable”.

The announcement comes just days after Canon Chancellor Dr Giles Fraser stepped down from his post, warning that to evict the anti-capitalist activists would constitute “violence in the name of the Church”.

A part time chaplain, Rev Fraser Dyer, has also resigned citing similar concerns.

On Friday, the Dean announced that the cathedral would pursue an injunction to evict the protesters. It was a decision that provoked a barrage of criticism.

Rev Knowles said today: “It has become increasingly clear to me that, as criticism of the cathedral has mounted in the press, media and in public opinion, my position as Dean of St Paul’s was becoming untenable.

OccupyBrisbane was evicted early this morning. They have re-formed and re-settled in Queens Park. Queens Park does not come under the jurisdiction of Brisbane City Council. They now have my good friend (NOT) Anna Bligh to contend with. Will she revert to the bad old days of Bjelke-Petersen when Queensland was ruled by a police/military regime?

Joh was the worst thing to happen to Queensland, Bligh is the second worst thing.

Do you think Queenslanders will vote Labor again? I doubt it, but I doubted it last time too. Lib/Nats are so lame they probably will.

UN boss warns of 7 billion's anger

UN chief Ban Ki-Moon warns world leaders will face mounting protests from 7 billion people over inequality.

UN chief Ban Ki-Moon has warned world leaders they face mounting protests from a world of seven billion people, unless they tackle inequality.

Highlighting famine in east Africa, the Syria unrest and Wall Street protests, Ban said there's rising public anger and a loss of faith in governments and public institutions to do the right thing.

At a news conference to mark the UN declaration that the world population has reached seven billion, Ban said the world is one of terrible contradictions, with plenty of food, but one billion people go hungry, and lavish lifestyles for a few but poverty for too many others.

Ban says he will take his warning to the Group of 20 summit in France this week.

Not quite what I meant pansi....
The US election system relies almost exclusively on campaign donations (which I don't believe have to be declared), so in effect only the wealth, or friends of the wealthy can get into office.

Our system on the other hand uses government funding, which has to be justified (ala the Pauline Hanson incident), so anyone can be elected...

So it's no surprise or conspiracy that rich people fund certain politicians or parties.....It's just the way it's done.

But that very thing is what the Occupy protestors would have to change in order to correct any inequality...

Brisbane City Council are saying that the protesters left $30,000 damage at the Post Office Square tent site.

I will grow the grass back for $10,000. All I need is a few sprinklers for a week and I'll have it looking all green and lush, simply perfect.

The rate payers of Brisbane should be outraged at this. The Mayor should be sacked immediately for such outrageous lies.

What does democracy look like?

Not like the Brisbane City Council.

The council was saying they need it done quickly for Rememberance Day.

So, if you believe the BCC, not only did the protesters stuff the grass, they're also interfering with our memorial to fallen soldiers.

With Obama on the way and his visiting Darwin, I guess we might be ginning up for more war... So we need that bloody grass looking good for Remembrance Day.

@Bolshevik Destroyer

I'm not really interested about sneering superiority from "intellectual" posters re occupy. They're changing the agenda, you didn't.

An epidemic of reported rapes and sexual assault against women has plagued the Occupy Wall Street movement in the past weeks. Just recently a 19-year-old Cleveland victim claimed she was raped after being directed by 'Occupy' officials to share a tent with a man named 'Leland' and a 14-year-old Dallas victim was sexually assaulted after running away from home to join the protests. To get a good sense of the dire conditions facing women, watch the following video of a protester in Zuccotti Park...

Fox news

There is a rising amount of reports of rapes and sexual assualts occuring at these occupy protesting movements from baltimore, dallas and cleveland, I guess we may have some lefties over there who like to rape or sexually assault women
