Rabbi busted in cop 'hit'

...
VICTOR KOLTUN
Allegedly ordered killings.

A Brooklyn rabbi was charged yesterday in the contract killing of a former suburban police officer and his nephew, authorities said.

Victor Koltun, 41 -- whose rap sheet includes mortgage-fraud allegations -- is accused of hiring two ex-cons to kill Frank Piscopo, 49, and Gerald Piscopo, 28, in Newburgh, Orange County.

Both Piscopos were found dead Nov. 4.

Frank had been a police sergeant in the Ulster County town of Lloyd before he quit in 1990 amid allegations he stole items from the department.

He had a criminal record that included arrests for theft and drug selling, the Times Herald-Record of Middletown reported.

Gerald had been deep in credit-card debt and emerged from personal bankruptcy in March. He had spent 2½ years in state prison from 2003 to 2005 on burglary charges.

Koltun, of Sheepshead Bay, already faces a possible 15-year prison term on separate charges that he pocketed proceeds of a $225,000 mortgage on several Brooklyn houses he did not own.

Newburgh cops also busted Frank Lewis, 56, of Manhattan, and Craig Fennell, 51, of Brooklyn, for allegedly carrying out the killings.

Both Lewis and Fennell are parolees with convictions for violent crimes.

All three suspects were arraigned yesterday in Newburgh city court and ordered jailed without bail.

Rabbi Charged With Child Sexual Abuse – Again

Stanley Z. Levitt allegedly abused boys at the Maimonides school in Brookline and at a Chabad synagogue in Philadelphia run by co-head of international Chabad movement, Rabbi Avraham Shemtov.

http://failedmessiah.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83451b71f69e2013485091f56970c-250wi

The Suffolk County district attorney says a rabbi who once taught at a Boston-area school faces another child assault charge.

Authorities said Sunday that Stanley Z. Levitt was charged with indecent assault and battery on a child. The 64-year-old Levitt is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Suffolk Superior Court.

Levitt was arraigned last year on four counts of indecent assault and battery on a child. Prosecutors say he assaulted two boys about 11 years old who attended the Maimonides School in Brookline where he taught between 1974 and 1977.

Prosecutors say the third person approached them after reading media accounts. Authorities say he also was a sixth grader at the school that employed Levitt in the mid-1970s.

It was not clear if Levitt is represented by a lawyer.

Here is what Rabbi Avraham Shemtov said about Levitt last year:

Rabbi Abraham Shemtov -- who has overseen Lubavitch efforts in the region for decades and who chairs the movement's umbrella body -- said that Levitt used to attend his synagogue, but that he no longer does.

Shemtov said that there were "lots of rumor that flew back and forth" about Levitt over the years, but he never got involved, and the rumors have stopped.

"No one came to me either seeking a solution or asking for help," said Shemtov.

With these kind of rumors, "unless you can be of help or assistance, you don't get involved," he added.

Tell that to the boys he sexually molested in Shemtov's synagogue.

Do you believe the hadiths that say rocks and trees will start talking one day are they going to grow vocal chords with some type of miracle?

If the zionists/jews control the media why dont they stop this stuff being published about jews- could it be a myth created by muslims that the zionists/jews control the media?

Five Rabbis Arrested in Corruption Probe

The mayors of Hoboken, Ridgefield and Secaucus, New Jersey, and five rabbis were among 44 people charged by the U.S. with public corruption and money laundering.

Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano, 32, Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell, 64, and Ridgefield Mayor Anthony Suarez, 42, all Democrats; Jersey City Council President Mariano Vega Jr., 59; State Assemblyman Daniel Van Pelt, 44, a Republican from Ocean Township; and Assemblyman L. Harvey Smith, a Jersey City Democrat, were charged yesterday in an FBI complaint. All except Smith appeared in U.S. court in Newark, New Jersey.

The corruption probe, based in Hudson County, netted many public officials accused of pledging assistance for bribes. A cooperating witness in that probe also infiltrated a “pre- existing money laundering network” that moved “at least tens of millions of dollars through charitable, nonprofit entities controlled by rabbis in New York and New Jersey,” according to a release by acting U.S. Attorney Ralph Marra...

Five Rabbis

The rabbis are Saul Kassin, 87, chief rabbi of Sharee Zion, a synagogue in Brooklyn, New York; Eliahu Ben Haim, 58, the principal rabbi of Congregation Ohel Yaacob in Deal, New Jersey; Edmond Nahum, 56, of Deal Synagogue in Deal; Mordchai Fish, 56, of Congregation Sheves Achim in Brooklyn; and Lavel Schwartz, 57, Fish’s brother.

The rabbis were charged with laundering money that often was sent to Israel. They are members of the Syrian Jewish or Hasidic Jewish communities, Marra said at the news conference. Authorities issued a warrant for Schwartz’s arrest. The other four rabbis were arrested yesterday and appeared in court.

“This case uncovered a web of corruption that spanned the state,” Dun said. “All of the individuals were connected through their illicit activities with the undercover witness.”

Kassin is accused of laundering more than $200,000 through Dwek from June 2007 through December 2008 by accepting “dirty checks” from him and exchanging them for “clean” checks, according to prosecutors...

...Fish, Schwartz and two other defendants used a charitable, tax-exempt organization called BCG, which was associated with Fish’s synagogue, to launder money by using money transfers, according to the FBI...

Levy-Izhak Rosenbaum, 58, of Brooklyn, was accused of conspiring with others to acquire and trade human organs for use in transplantation. Rosenbaum, who was “purportedly” involved in real estate, was approached by a cooperating witness and an undercover FBI agent about buying a human kidney from a human organ broker, according to the complaint.

Rosenbaum said it would cost $150,000, with half payable up front, according to the complaint. Rosenbaum said some of the money would go to the donor and some to doctors in Israel, according to the complaint.

‘Illegal to Sell’

“One of the reasons it’s so expensive is because you have to shmear (meaning pay various individuals for their assistance) all the time,” according to the complaint. “It’s illegal to buy. It’s illegal to sell.”...

Wealthy rabbi accused of financing drug dealing business

...

Rabbi Baruch Chalomish, 54, rented an apartment where he could ''relax and have a party'', Manchester Crown Court heard.

When police raided the apartment, and his home in an area of Salford heavily populated with Orthodox Jews, they discovered a total of 101 grams (3.6oz) of cocaine and more than £17,000 in cash.

Prosecutor Michael Goldwater also told the jury of five men and seven women that Chalomish's business partner, Nasir Abbas, 54, had failed to turn up for the trial and is sought by police.

The pair are both charged with possession of cocaine, and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Chalomish faces two charges on both counts, and Abbas faces one charge on both counts, which he denies.

The rabbi, of Upper Park Road, Salford, admits two counts of possession of cocaine but denies intent to supply.

Mr Goldwater said police found both defendants at the one-bedroom apartment when they raided it at 9am on Monday January 5.

He said: "Our case is that Abbas and Chalomish were dealing in controlled drugs. They were running, we say, a commercial cocaine supply operation from an apartment-hotel in Shudehill, Manchester.

"Rabbi Chalomish also had a substantial store of drugs, cocaine, and cash at his home address."

Officers found forms which showed that the apartment was rented from the firm Premier Apartments in Abbas's name.

Mr Goldwater said officers discovered evidence of a "substantial drug supply operation".

The jury heard that when interviewed by police, Abbas said he knew the rabbi as "Shell" and rented the apartment on his behalf and received money from him for the rent.

Mr Goldwater said: "He said Shell wanted to relax and have a party at the flat.

"He said there had been a lot of people come through the flat in the last 10 days, most of them girls. He mentioned one particular girl, called Emma from Stockport, who stayed for seven days.

"She was the only one allowed to go into that bedroom apart from Shell."

The court heard Abbas told detectives his role was to keep the flat tidy and said that although Shell did not sell drugs, he did not mind if others wanted to consume them and that he liked to impress girls.

Mr Goldwater continued: "He said he had seen Shell putting white powder in a glass dish and mixing it with another substance, and anyone visiting was free to help themselves."

Abbas also claimed that he and Chalomish were planning to open a restaurant together, funded by the rabbi.

Mr Goldwater told the jury that Abbas had a previous conviction for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs in March 1996.

The jury heard that the rabbi gave "no comment" interviews to police until his final interview, where he admitted he was a wealthy man who liked to assist less fortunate people.

Chalomish said he bought large quantities of cocaine for his own personal use and often used it when he could not sleep.

Mr Goldwater said: "The prosecution case is these two men were concerned in a commercial drug supply operation.

"We don't completely exclude the possibility that there might be some truth in what Abbas told the police, that some of the drugs were given to young women who came to the flat and that one or more of those young women may have provided sexual services.

"We do say that it was essentially a commercial operation. We say their roles were different. Nasir Abbas had the know-how, knew the drugs business, had the contacts, he would know where to obtain the drugs, how much to pay and how to find customers.

"Rabbi Chalomish would not have necessarily had the knowledge, we say Chalomish was the financier, he put up the money.

"We've been informed that Chalomish is a wealthy man, we've got no reason to doubt that. Nor do we have any reason to believe that his wealth was not achieved perfectly legitimately.

"How he got in the drugs business is unclear. He may have got into the drugs business as a drugs user but may have realised there were substantial profits to be made.

"A supply on this scale would need a source of capital for financing the purchase of the drugs and rental of the flat so dealing could go on off the street and not at his address."

The case at Manchester Crown Court continues.

Rabbi admits molesting 2 teenage boys

An Albany-area rabbi admits he had "inappropriate physical contact" with two naked boys and told one of them to lie about it.

Yaakov Weiss, founder of the Chabad Hebrew School, pleaded guilty to child endangerment Monday in Albany County Court. He faces up to 60 days in jail and three years probation as part of a plea bargain. Sentencing is March 1.

The 29-year-old rabbi was initially charged two years ago with sexually abusing two 13-year-olds in 2007. The incidents allegedly took place in a pool, called a mikveh, used by some Jews for ritual purification.

The indictment said one of the boys sought advice from Weiss, his teacher and spiritual leader, and Weiss told him not to tell his mother or police about the incident.

Hundreds Of Jews Support  Extremist Settler Sex-Abuse Rabbi

Hundreds of supporters gathered at the home of Rabbi Mordechai Elon yesterday morning to show their support for the embattled rabbi, who had been accused the day before of inappropriate sexual behavior by a forum of senior religious figures.

The crowd that assembled at Elon's home in the small community of Migdal, by Lake Kinneret, included former students and friends. Haim Cohen made the trip from Katzrin in the Golan Heights.

"I've known the rabbi for 15 years," he said. "He advises me and instructs me. My life is molded by the rabbi. He guides my path."

Cohen expressed shock at the accusations against Elon. "I feel sad and hurt. The rabbi loves all his students. He kisses them and give them warmth and love. He even hugs and kisses me. It never had a sexual connotation," he said.

Takana, a forum dedicated to preventing sexual harassment by prominent religious figures, is the group that exposed the allegations. Yesterday, it received additional charges against the rabbi from former students of Elon and their parents.

As Elon entered the synagogue in Migdal yesterday, Haya Frommer couldn't stop the tears from streaming down her face. Two years ago, she left Jerusalem for Migdal "in the rabbi's wake."

Frommer was joined by 300 other students, along with other residents of Migdal and the surrounding area. All had come to hear their rabbi speak.

"A little light casts away much darkness," Elon said. "Now we must know how to use it. Let's not be dragged into hatred.

"I took silence upon myself, and I call on you not to let anyone enter into this slander. The truth will find its way faster than we think."

"The honor of restraining oneself from desecrating God's name is a great one. It falls upon me and I'm willing to accept it with love," he added.

Only human beings

"Rabbis are human beings," said Rabbi Avi Gisser of the West Bank settlement of Ofra. Gisser's appearance marked the first time a top religious Zionist rabbi has come out in defense of Elon.

Meanwhile, Takana officials convened yesterday to try to come to terms with the firestorm they sparked by exposing the allegations against Elon. The group's director, Yehudit Shilat, confirmed to Haaretz that she had received additional complaints, which the organization was investigating.

While some former students derided the charges as a "blood libel," many members of the religious Zionist community cast scorn on Takana itself.

The organization was founded in 2003, and included rabbis from all the different streams of religious Zionism. The forum's web site states that its "operational model, which has been presented to the attorney general, is not an alternative to state authorities."

Takana, it says, "is at the service of victims only when they don't want to - or for personal reasons cannot - complain to the police, but still wish to have justice served."

Complaints received by the organization are examined by a small staff, which according to regulations is comprised of two men and two women.

The forum was established in the wake of a sexual harassment scandal at Bar-Ilan University that rocked the religious Zionist community. The women's organization Kolech fought for the dismissal of the lecturer charged with harassment, but as a result of its activity, Kolech itself suffered significant criticism from the religious Zionist camp. A decision was then made to assemble the forum from a diverse collection of rabbis, psychologists, social workers and educators from across the religious Zionist spectrum, and in 2003, Takana was founded.

The difference is, the jews didn't turn any of their randy fvckers into a prophet a la Mohammed, thereby making it acceptable to marry a 6 year old and screw a 9 year old.  And say Allan told him to do it, like every other abomination he justified with a 'I've just had a call from Allan'.

These jews are going to be tried in a court. They are not starting a religion for Arabs that will make their conduct examplary.

You fallah?i

Perv rabbi gets special jail meals

It's unholy.

A rabbi convicted of sexually abusing a teenage boy has his kosher meals picked up from a Queens store by an on-duty jail captain.

Baruch Lebovits, a once-respected Satmar rabbi from Brooklyn, gets the special food brought straight to his Rikers Island cell, even though the jail already provides kosher dishes for its Jewish prisoners.

Apparently, they aren't blessed enough for Lebovits, 59, who has been moaning for months that he couldn't eat the food because it hadn't had proper rabbinical supervision, sources said.

Lebovits' adherence to holy law apparently didn't preclude repeatedly sexually abusing a 16-year-old classmate of his son, a heinous crime for which he was sentenced in March to up to 32 years in prison.

...
Disgraced Rabbi Baruch Lebovits gets special food privileges at Rikers, a year after The Post exposed a Manhattan jailhouse bar mitzvah for an inmate's son.

The Brooklyn rabbi is on Rikers awaiting trial in another sex abuse case.

On Thursday, a Rikers jail captain was ordered to pick up $60 worth of glatt kosher canned meals for the sicko, including Salisbury steak, stuffed shells, cheese ravioli and barbecued chicken wings from Alle Processing in Maspeth, Queens, an e-mail obtained by The Post shows.

The company offered to mail the food, but because of a delay, the captain went in person to pick up the package.

Lebovits' special daily diet also includes dry cereal, a box of matzo, four ounces of kosher grape juice and fresh fruit and veggies -- provided to him uncut, lest they were touched by a knife that cut non-kosher food.

Paulette Johnson, the Correction Department's head of food services, approved the arrangement.

Lebovits' own influential Satmar rabbi, Moshe David Neiderman, played a key role in convincing jail officials.

"This is not a privilege or an accommodation -- it's a right," said Neiderman, president of the United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg.

"Any Jewish prisoner has the religious right to eat food that is appropriate according his religious traditions."

But a Jewish advocate said: "That's a big chutzpah."

"They are bending over backwards to help this molester," said the advocate, who asked to remain anonymous.

"None of the other Jewish inmates can get that same food," he said.

Correction officials say they're just following the law.

"Congress enacted the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of 2000. The Department provides glatt kosher meals consistent with its requirements," said spokesman Stephen Morello.

This latest scandal comes a year after The Post exposed correction chaplain Rabbi Leib Glanz as wielding such power over the city detention center in lower Manhattan that he allowed a convict to hold his son's bar mitzvah there.

Glanz and a department chief resigned in wake of the reports.

FDNY chaplain Rabbi Joseph Potasnik criticized Lebovits' deal, saying, "There's no reason to give special food to one inmate."

Jewish community 'protected sex suspect'

September 07, 2011

A POLICE investigation into child sex offences at a prominent Jewish school was hindered by sections of the Jewish community amid attempts to protect a man charged with dozens of crimes against students, a Victoria Police detective has claimed.

The allegation came during a bail application for locksmith and security guard David Cyprys who was arrested yesterday morning.

Cyprys, 43, was charged with 16 counts of indecent assault and 13 counts of gross indecency from his time at Yeshiva College, East St Kilda, during the 1980s and 1990s.

The alleged crimes involve 12 students associated with the school, where the court heard Cyprys was employed as a security guard and also taught karate.

The victims were aged between seven and 17 at the time of the offending.

Informant Senior Detective Lisa Metcher told the court sections of the Jewish community had protected Cyprys and hindered the police investigation.

"They (Jewish community) have failed to act in any way to protect the children and the matters have been swept under the carpet," Sen Det Metcher said "Lies have been told to police...information has been twisted or covered up," she said.

Sen Det Metcher told the court she believed Cyprys was a significant flight risk.

She said police had received between five and 10 phone calls a day from people claiming they were also abused by Cyprys.

"The accused is still connected with people that would probably make it easy for him to leave the country," she said.

The court heard five of Cyprys' victims lived in Victoria, while another five lived in NSW.

Two others now live overseas.

Some of the offences are believed to have occurred in NSW while Cyprys was traveling with Yeshiva College for a training camp with a sister school.

The court also heard police had concerns for the welfare of Cyprys' two children, one who lives with him, and the three children of his partner.

Cyprys did not enter a plea and was granted bail on a series of conditions including posting $50,000 surety.

He was also ordered to surrender his passport, report to police daily, stay at least 100m from any school.

He also been banned from any unsupervised contact with children under 16, including his own.

The case was adjourned until December 2.

The hinderence to the police investigation and the cover up by the school, the Yeshivah Center as a whole and some of the various official groups that represent the community is a twisted web that needs to be exposed.

Back in July when this story first broke many were critical of the timid response from the JCCV(Jewish Community Council of Victoria).
In short the JCCV recomended that any victim needing support or counciling contact the "Jewish Taskforce Against Family Violence".
In effect the JCCV washed it's hands and distanced itself from the allegations of child sexual abuse within the community and specifically the crimes of Yeshivah security guard David Cyprys.

So why did the JCCV do this?.
And what is wrong with them suggesting that victims contact the Jewish Taskforce Against Family Violence for help.

Lets start with the JCCV...
Michelle Coleman is the "executive director" of the JCCV(Jewish Community Council of Victoria).
She is the "partner" of David Cyprys mentioned in court at the bail hearing who has 3 kids. Yes, she is his girlfriend.
A conflict of interest?
No wonder the JCCV chose to distance itself.

The Jewish Taskforce Against Family Violence is widely seen as a Yeshivah "apologist".

So the question must be asked, is the Jewish Taskforce Against Family Violence there to help victims or to keep Yeshivah informed of who is speaking up? Of who is likely to come forward and make complaints/statements to the Moorabin taskforse investigating these crimes?.

The Yeshivah is managed by "executives" and "Trustees".
The executives each have a portfolio. One looks after the synagogue, another looks after the boys school, another looks after the girls school etc.
The trustees control the money, the assets and have the final say on everything Yeshivah/chabad does in Melbourne...

The director of the jewish Taskforce is Sheini New.....This you'll find on their website...
Her husband is Chain New....He is an executive....His portfolio is the Yeshivah school.....He is personally responsible for what happens at the school....

Chaim New's father is Max New....He has been a trustee for years....
