It is not the bank staffs fault if they work for greedy a corporation, a job is a job, they are only the workers.

Spitting is a criminal offence and the offenders can and should be charged.

That is really funny Aussie. The bank staff at my local branch bend over backwards to help their customers. They most definatly do not deserve to be spat on because the bank they work for was bought by one of the banks in question.

Cowards.  Who spits on the branch staff and thinks thats acceptable behaviour.

They are just ordinary people trying to make a living to pay their bills.

Whats more upsetting is what are the other people in the branch doing?  I for one wouldnt be able to sit idle by when the staff who have been great to me who are members of our local community were being spat on by gutless morons.

More than likely freaking out and wanting something done about it. But if the story is true, it's quite likely that they've been told to let such things pass at the moment - otherwise the cops would have been brought into it.

Cops should have been brought in anyway.

This kind of behaviour is pretty average.

Ive been treated pretty damn poorly by the bank over a sale of some property recently, and I am far from happy, but Im not going to abuse the branch staff who can do nothing about it.

Some people need to pull their heads in.

Yes i understand this. Just to clear up, i don't condone spitting or any violence in practice (or atleast i try not to).

But we all have choices.

So Jame-e, you believe it is the staffs fault because they choose to work for a Bank.
That's pretty harsh. If I chose to not work for any company that tried to maximize it's profit I wouldn't be left with many employment opportunities.

Is it their fault that they got spat on? No. Spitee's are not responsible for the spiters.

We all try to maximise our profits. It is the system we are born into and all of us exploit it to some degree.
But you can choose to do it ethically or you can just simply maximise your profits.

Yes Jame-e, they can choose to resign and then wait 6 weeks for help from centrelink because they left their job.

Poor sods we are here in Australia aren't we Debo. I don't like centrelink either.
I think we should get together and make a plan. A plan that would allow us to purge ourselves of centrelink and its mean system.

I say find a big enough plane, chop the evil system up, and find somewhere to dump it, what ya reckon?
Perhaps somewhere in the 3rd world?
A place where the environment and people have been poisoned, exploited and spat on using finances supplied by our glorious banks.
Hopefully then we will no longer have to think about how bad we've got it.
