I live din Ashfield 20 years ago and it along with Burwood was a poo heap, i went back to Sydney stayed at Ridges at Camperdown, and the entire stretch of city along Parramatta Rd is/was a dump. Full of foreigners, Would not live there if it were free and I made 250K a year.

Sydney is a complete pile of steaming dog turd.

believe me.
i'm NOT a racist.
this has NOTHING to do with that.
i'm just so sick of going two blocks down the road and seeing ugliness that isn't at all needed.
if it weren't for the Westfield, this suburb would be a ghetto. and, until they rebuilt it(Westfield) in 2002, it really was.
here are the details:
1. too many C grade cafes.
2. too much heavy traffic on Burwood Rd.
3. far too many ppl here that don't actually live here. they clutter up the place without actually having any investment in it.
4. the mayor is a whore and the council is corrupt, and these are not my words.they come from a chinese gentleman called Danny who i've a lot of time for. he protests in Burwood with placards and a little dog a lot.
5. the ppl in control here have no guts. they'll let this poo keep on happening as long as they get council rates.
6. the main thing is, it's ugly, oppressive and third world.

THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING HERE.

this suburb sucks balls.
pure - simple.
and i believe the neighboring area are just as bad.
why these bugger wits are allowed to come into aussie, i don't know.
but, this last election shows that most ppl are not happy, and do not believe in
thevsystem here.
