ABC Four Corners 23 August 2010 - the next crash
Aug 23rd, 2010 at 9:44pm

There was an excellent program on the state of the global bubble economy and the dire situation that will eventually sooner probably rather than later occur.  Although a great program, as usual, the Australian media wakes up to this at least 18 months late!!!
These warnings have been all over the internet for the last two years during the gfc.
This appears also to have been little or no wider knowledge of the situation on this "forum" either.
Fasten your seatbelts, folks, and thank your lucky stars you live here - provided we get a government that works.
The global situation is one step away from total meltdown.

Choose your tent carefully, you may be in it for a long time.

Refer to the finance thread in this forum for an excellent coverage of things to come.

We may regret , even more so, the waste of our national savings on the big bogan bribe (stimulus farce) and the other billions wasted by the previous, insane ALP Federal "Government".

I hope the Economy does crash (come back down to Earth) after 10 years of Hyper-Inflation, the likes never experienced before (but not as bad as Zimbabwe).
I wouldn't mind picking up a House for a cool $50,000, down from $500,000 ...but thats what I've been waiting for since the 90's.
(enter evil sinnister laugh)

if you don't want bubbles to bust then don't blow at first place ..

there are more great worries happening around the world .. just look at the flood in Pakistan .. or north east China .. you don't know when nature will strike .. and there will be no food .. no shelter .. diseases .. just imagines all the dams  in the Mekong river from China are collapse due to Earth quakes or some kind of nature desasters.. then it will be catastrophies ..

That is likely to prove to be correct!

However, the ABC program only presented some of the factors involved and did not look into "Wonderland", to predict where the future may go!

Ironically, the GFC was also noted as inevitable a good two years before it came, and it was all over the net... worried financiers and economist were pondering the future crash just as we do the next one. I was predicting a melt down and currency crisis back in 2005 and constantly posting over at debate and relate my concerns... up to and including the melt down.

And lo! Here I am here... doing the same thing again.

On the up side, there is money to be made from a crisis.  Cool

True, as was demonstrated by SOME who made their fortunes from & during the Great Depression.

But, there was & will be many more, who lose almost everything & those who will actually lose everything!
