Ahhh OK, don't know where I got the idea she was a PA.

Still don't reckon she deserves a penny though.

What she deserved was: -

1. To be able to go to work, to be respected by her peers and superiors and do her job without fear or favour.
2. To be able to assert herself in the event of any unwanted sexual advances in her workplace - and for her wishes to be respected.
3. To be able to access a standard set of complaints and mediation procedures in the workplace, in the event of any serious incidents and/or any ongoing sexual harassment, such that sexual harassment would be stopped immediately (and the offender dealt with under same procedures).
4. To be able to escalate any complaint, if necessary.

By all accounts, this is a fairly clear case of: the top person in the organisation being the offender (against one or more junior member/s of staff) - and of the 'victim/s' feeling helpless whilst the offender remained 'untouchable' (for want of a better word)...

Lamenting the shift in the Australian psyche, away from the egalitarian ideal of the fair-go - and the rise of short-sighted pollies, who worship the 'Growth Fairy' and seek to divide and conquer!

Yers..in a perfect world....

But in a perfect world, nobody would have to go to work at all....I guess that's what she's aiming for with her grab for an early retirement fund.

If she plans to donate the money received in any settlement, then your argument is totally invalid!

No, no no aussie....she's not a slapper, she's a brave, selfless woman, pioneering a new and fairer way of life for everyone.
