I read Eric Burdon's book a while back and he was the second person to see Jimi's body. Jimi's girlfriend discovered him and then called up Eric. He was dead on a mattress in her flat. The cops took Jimi's body away and Eric said there was an impression in the mattress where Jim's body lay. I always think about that when I listen to his music. Thanks Pecca.
