As for singing - some of those notes are a bit high for me.

I knew all my scales - but
I was just a chord player and would learn a bit of melody
and the chords that went with it at the same time if I practiced enough. Embarrassed

Nothing to boast about. Embarrassed

I used the piano to prepare songs for singing purposes -
if a note was too high I would choose one 3 semitones down and usually it would still work.
Yeah - I cheated sometimes. Embarrassed
