'The Green Mile' - Stephen King should have been shot for the disappointing ending that saw the big Negro 'hero' end up in the electric chair instead of escaping the prison through a tunnel and to freedom. One of the most botched-up endings to a book I've ever read.

At very least King should have fired his ghost writer.
