why are we paying for former pm Honest Johnnys excessive office refurbishment ($180.000 I beleive) he is on the highest parliamentary pension of any former PM $235.000 a year plus all the perks and free first class travel anywhere in the world at any time. plus he earns unlimited income on top of this outrageous pension. so why cant he pay for his own furniture? where does all that money go if he has no living expenses?-straight in to his bank account? pensioners are limited to earning only $60 a fortnight before penalties and reductions are imposed on them.
