A great story of a kid doing what so many thought was too hard to achieve, he devised a way to make plastic break down rapidly, which may have great potential to aid the worldwide problem of our plastic bag epidemic.

I love reading positive stories about people who just get down to it and work to solve problems, and that a kid could do what so many emminent scientists have been unable to do, speaks volumes for the wonders that an open mind may be able to achieve.

That is some good news. If it does indeed work as they say, he should get a 20 trillion dollar grant to work on carbon emissions.

Now the test is to find where that bacteria naturally occurs in various environments, so we don't have say another cane toad epidemic or other pest.
