Will men become redundant in a future world?
Apr 18th, 2009 at 5:34pm

[[I feel I've had to remove this from the Global thread due the fact it may be a bit much for some.

ie: dislike of the feminist P.O.V on this forum..even tho I'm not a feminist as such...]]

BUT could men become redundant in a future world..if you as a man dont believe so..why not?

Do women need men.?

I apologise it should be "I am a man", now it is corrected, Sorry, sorry, sorry. It was subconsciously, I feel embarrassed being a man because we men are so bad in comparison with women.

No athos your not "so bad"  in comparison to women...far from it

If your talking generally , and I think you are, then overall and in general ,men have had to take a step back in the last 40 years. Before the pendulum swung to far in favour of the male having more freedom, more say and demanding respect rather than having to earn it ..even in Western Society women are still very under valued, they always have been , but anyone with half a brain can see that of the 2 sexes, the one able to bear and nuture life is ,by far,  the more powerful..just by that very defintion it has to be so..

Men subjugate women because in part they fear them, they keep them down trodden because they dont ever want women to ever realise just how powerful she really is.
Consider the fact that without women the human race ceases to exist and there you have it.. there is no greater power than that.

Calanen wrote-

Quote:
Maybe it's just you are so bad in comparison to women.

Men do not have a monopoly on poor conduct.

I feel sorry for this generation of men like athos. Castrated, they flail about trying to appease multicultism, feminism, general kumbayaism - instead of being what they were supposed to be - men.

Calanen wrote-
Quote:
If you cannot be a man athos, that's great, opt out - be a wuss. But there are still men around who can be.

True.^^

Being a man doesnt mean at the expense of women being women , and taking their rightful , equal, place in society.

Being a man means knowing you are strong without the need to prove it constantly , diminishing women physically and mentally does not a strong man make..this man simply displays his weaknesses..for these  tactics are not lost on women and the more calculating will use it against you and they are.

Many now are simply becoming you, beating you at your own game..it called survival..if you dont like what some women are becoming...take a look at yourself and change it.

I love men just as they are..but its not hard to see how and why its changing, and why men are confused ...

athos is not nearly as emasculated and deluded as you might want to believe..actually

Women are already redundant.

It may surprise you to know that a man can transition to female and have children. A transplant of a uterus can be done, and genetic engineering can make a child to grow within this 'new' woman, and she can give birth.

So, someone who is genetically male can carry a foetus to term and deliver it.

Some sex changes are so good you can't tell.

Women are redundant. In the interests of decency though, they continue to exist.

It would be wrong to just get rid of them, even though there is no actual 'need' for them any longer.

Men are always going to be necessary, as are women.

Stop the genocide.

Yes true Sprint and who would have it any other way?

I have heard of scenarios where women will become a master race in the future, even tho I suspect it will never happen ..but who knows?

Its quiet possible and nothing would need to be manipulated [surgically]for women are perfectly equipped to be masters of their own race....

Changing our own tyres is but one thing we would need to adapt too but hey...its doeable  Smiley

Sex would be a bit bleak tho..I dont know too many of us could make that concession..

It would be terrible to see either sex made redundant - how boring would life be with everyone being the same gender.

I didn't know that transferable uteruses had been developed, nor that it was possible for a male to have a baby.  One did recently, but "he" was a female to start off with.

I don't think I've ever seen one where you can't tell.  There's always something that gives it away.  Big feet, hands, wrong voice etc.

Its just not possible to transplant a uterus..never been done , never likely to be.

Men just dont have the physiology to support a uterus...its absurd.

Men traditionally are not interested in babies and the newborn, its not their god given/earth given role. They see themselves as providers and are in the main,  unwilling/unyeilding in their ability/want to be anything else..unlike women who do go to work and still remain caregivers and sockwashers etc.

Men cannot multitask, is it just a cliche'? i dont think so..

I don't want a uterus thanks.
Or to give birth.

Just have a wimmin to make my dinner, clean the house, be the object of her sexual lusts is good.

You're a man of basic desires Sprintcyclist, but then most of us are whether we're male or female. Cheesy

I didn't think so - I wonder where Easel heard that, but he made a point in another thread.  Men are still necessary for their strength, although I heard that some women are now taking supplements of testosterone to maintain their youth, agility and libido. It sounds interesting, but a side affect is hairiness.  What a choice! Shocked

Grin  The article stated that it was the hair on the face and chest that was the biggest problem.

Strange.  You would think a hairy lady would be a real turnoff to the average male.  Maybe these blokes aren't average.

Well it's fortunate that Japan wasn't completely wiped out during WW2. They're working hard on a solution to the "problem".

As technology improves, women will become more obsolete. Which is good because they are irrational, selfish, and controlling anyway.

Everything that is wrong with our culture is centered around femeninity. I wouldn't say to take The Bible literaly, but there is alot said about women when they were given paradise, and leave it to a woman to defy God. Appalogizing for her own flawed nature, and thinking she knows better then the divine creator. "It's my body WAGH!"

And man is guilty as well. But moreso guilty of following along like a lapdog. Men are only assertive by nature if they make themselves to be. Just as women are only decent human beings if they make themselves to be. As far as I see it, the primary nature of man is to be a coward and woman to be a souless abberation...

My God. These "dummies" are getting more and more realistic.  Notice the noise in the background - the men weren't listening to a word she said, although that's nothing new.

He only used the words man and woman singularly so there would have to be some humans on the planet who fit this description.

Do women need men.?

The answer is no, women don't need men - I don't need a man for money, security, protection, home/vehicle maintenance or any of the other purposes men have generally been good for in the past. If I want to breed I don't need to enter into a relationship, or even an arrangement with a man - I can get what I need through a medical procedure and I'm not referring to a sex change operation.

Will men become redundant? probably not but only because they're still good for sex and make cute pets.

Clearly I meant most women are evil souless ghouls, and most men are unassertive pussies that need to wake the bugger up.

The west is primarily vagina run, and it sucks. In all the cultures where women rule, nothing gets done, and everybody is weak and oppressed!

smacking Arabs got the right idea. They spend their days smoking hookahs and being one with the land! There's no crime, no pollution, no taxes... And if somebody player hates, they get stoned to death. I smacking wanna' be Muslim!

I've heard this phrase bandied around by men a bit lately: "I need a strong woman".

WTF???
Is this a joke? No, it's no joke, it's real and it's a disgrace. Muslim men must find western cattle quite humerous.

Then you must be a lesbian. because by the very nature of western culture, man is to be weak or alienated.

A strong man, is a "chavunistic" man. Men who are domineering and proud of themselves are seen as a pox of some backward age. As if any recollection of the past is a sign of defeat for rights, progress, and the general well being of the nation.. Roll Eyes

The obsession with equality leads ultimately to more supramacy then if people were just admittedly preadjudice. Women don't want strong men. They want men who do what they tell them, and simply pretend to have their own thought. Let's say for example you have a woman who likes to party hard and go out clubbing and rub up against other people. Especialy guys. This sortof behaivor might've been acceptable when she was "on the market". But now it's not. She's in a relationship, and she should be considerate of her man's feelings. All the same, you would not expect a taken man to be going around slutting about with other women just to prove they were still hot. Yes, they do it sometimes, but that doesn't make it right now does it?

So what do women expect? They want a man who won't stop them and will just circlejerk. "Well it's her life, I can't control her actions". Like hell you can't! The strong do not make excuses. If they want something, they take it. Regardless of what other people think. Love doesn't mean you let someone do whatever the bugger they want too. Love is jealous, coveting, greedy, suspicious, and sometimes downright mean. And do you know why?

...
Because if they weren't, that means they don't give a poo about you! If I'm not controlling and overly suspicious, you need to start worrying.... cause that means I'm detatched, unconcerned, and probably sleeping around with some other broad who's willing to hear my problems...

Ofcourse it's perfectly acceptable in our culture for the woman to boss around a man. "For their own good". Because ofcourse women are always right. As we've seen in every sitcom ever.

This is why the only real show I've liked is I Love Lucy. I think it takes the most realistic approach to gender roles, relationships, and genders as a whole. In the end, Ricky tries to be the alpha male, and is often just a loudmouth dumbass who has to cover his tracks. Lucy's a dumbass too and is just hoping Ricky won't findout some new mess she's gotten herself into. In the end they findout both are dumbasses, regardless of who submits and who dominates. And they realize, hey... Love just means being stupid together.

Love [i.e. to be loved] isn't 'freedom' to do as we wish.

Love [i.e. to be loved] isn't 'licence'.

Dictionary,
licence = =
1 a permit from an authority to own or use something, do a particular thing, or carry on a trade (especially in alcoholic liquor). Ø formal or official permission.
2 a writer’s or artist’s conventional freedom to deviate from facts or accepted rules.
3 freedom to behave without restraint.

And love, isn't 'jealous'.

'Jealous', that isn't love,
.....'jealous', is just pure selfishness.

Like a selfish parent, who won't allow, and will not encourage a child to grow, and to seek and choose their own dreams, and make mistakes.

'We're only human, we're supposed to make mistakes.'

YOU'RE ONLY HUMAN
Billy Joel

Quote:
If you love someone, set them free. If they come back they're yours; if they don't they never were.
Richard Bach

Quote:
If you love somebody
If you love someone
If you love somebody
If you love someone, set them free
Set them free
Set them free
Set them free

If it's a mirror you want
Just look into my eyes
Or a whipping boy
Someone to despise
Or a prisoner in the dark
Tied up in chains you just can't see
Or a beast in a gilded cage
That's all some people ever want to be

If you love somebody
If you love someone
If you love somebody
If you love someone, set them free
Set them free
Set them free
Set them free

You can't control an independent heart
Can't tear the one you love apart
Forever conditioned to believe that we can't live
We can't live here and be happy with less
So many riches
So many souls
With everything we see that we want to possess

If You Love Someone Set Them Free

Yeah Yadda, great job blindly quoting somebody else. Rather then rationalizing it for yourself.

It still doesn't challenge the fact if you care about something, why would you ever allow it to leave you? You can love something inspite of pure selfishness. That's why you love it. Because it completes you.

Like hell you're going to "set it free". If I let something "go free" that's because I don't care about it's future, or my relationship with them. I let a stray cat "go free" to get runned over or starve somewhere. Because it's not my problem. I let some stranger "go free" to live a life of poverty and dissapointment. Because it's not my problem.

Parents are controlling because they care. The compassion causes fear for the well being of the ones they love, and the fear of loss. Noone wants to lose... What sortof twisted mind cococted "love is apathy"?

Probably the same retard who conned "love your enemies". If you loved everyone, even your enemies... What value does love have?

...
It's not hard to imagine. Love is like an investment. If I've worked hard, and put alot of work into it. There is no way in hell I'm just going to be like "whatever" and "set someone free" or be some communist prick and be like "everyone is equal teehee!"

Hippies need to learn2love.

Granted, I'm not surprised. The same demographic that doesn't care about the victims of brutal murder because "they care about the murderer's rights", or their aborted fetuses for some social darwin approach to living... They completely alienate the innocent and their own children. I'm not surprised at all they wouldn't know how to love a spouse.

JP,

One day you will come to learn that love means letting go, not grasping on to 'it', for dear life.

'It' = = what you attribute as 'of value' to yourself.

The essence of love is acceptance [of others?].

Love has nothing to do with our ability to enforce or empower our 'passion' [desires].

"We are who we protect, i think.
What we stand up for."

yadda - I agree with you. It takes courage, you certainly might "lose".

Then again, 'grasping on" is not love.

loving is giving.

Just returning to the original question as to wether men might in the future be rendered redundant.

I dare say that such a thing is conveivable.

BUT.

If science/technology where to make one sex unecessary for reproductive purposes why would the other remain "essential"?

Aldous Huxly's celebrated novel, - "Brave New World," - provides one speculative glimpse of what such a society might look like.

George Orwell in his equally acclaimed dystopian classic, - "1984," - furnished an alternative view in which scientists in the world of Ingsoc are actively seeking to make it physically impossible for humans to produce children by natural means.

I find it difficult to see how any matter of major social import can ever honestly be described as a "womans issue" or a "male issue."

Surely if something impacts negatively on one sex it will impact negatively on the other.

If not directly, then indirectly.

What say you?

This thread is weird, and WTF did the Muslim thing come into it?

If it comes to technology, only one sex is needed but technology will soon run into a genetic dead end.

We became top of the heap because of genetic diversity. Any practice that acts to remove genetic diversity will see us extinct sooner rather than later.

Applying that principle we can tell that GMO seeds are going to lead to some genetic/environmental disaster like the Irish potato famine: lack of diversity means a GMO crop is ultra-vulnerable to some pest or disease, and viruses are always mutating.

Sometimes I think the goal is the destruction of mankind. It'd be a far easier and more fun goal then struggling to have it survive yet another fable only to be unremembered or forced to endure ungrateful swine who don't even realize what you just did...

Humans are stupid. They don't appreciate anything you do for them. And women are the most guilty of that. Evidently I don't think it's so much science would create genetic dead-ends, as we could control the genetics. So much as what would be the motivation?

Only to the most insanely altruistic person would we need to control the species as a whole to protect it. And anybody who is that compassionate will surely be crushed the moment he goes out into the world to try to implement his ideas. People don't want to be saved. So let them die. Let them die painfuly. And grab the heap for yourself and laugh in their fat faces as they die horribly and you die comfortably.

...
The streets are extended gutters, the gutters are full of blood, and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown.

The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'

And I will look down, and whisper 'no.'

They had a choice, all of them. They could have followed in the footsteps of good men like my father, or President Truman. Decent men, who believed in a day's work for a day's pay. Instead they followed the droppings of lechers and communists and didn't realize that the trail led over a precipice until it was too late. Don't tell me they didn't have a choice. Now the whole world stands on the brink, staring down into bloody hell, all those liberals and intellectuals and smooth-talkers, and all of a sudden nobody can think of anything to say.

Who's the guy?  Tongue

It's her gay ass friend who wants her but can't have her. She's told me herself.

You know, it's not funny or acceptable the way you think targeting my girl for your little troll escapades. How would you like it if I called your girlfriend a cheating whore?

There are some things you don't joke about. Maybe I should pick on your dead mother. Or joke about how your mother should be dead.

I'm sure the devil has a good old time with your mother penetrating her with his lava cock.

James, I agree but it was your mistake to bring nice Jewish Zionist girl JewLZ to this political discussions. However nothing is lost if you truly love her, you can become a Zionist without actually performing the operation.

That's what I'd call a foregone conclusion.
