Hitler had a sense of humour
Feb 23rd, 2009 at 10:01am

Well I had never seen this footage before, but it was from shortly before the war began, where he addresses a public meeting.

"Say what you like about nationalist socialism, at least it was an ethos" ---'Walter Sobchak'

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/178650/rare_video_of_hitler/

Nice to think our impending financial problems will see a slew of wannabe tinpot nationalists spruiking their own versions of hateful idiocy.

mohammed said "O followers of Muhammad! By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little." [Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, #627]

There is a debate going on now what this hadith is about. Some muslims say this means that islam is a humourless ideology while others say that it is not.

I reckon that it is funny. What is opinion of other forum members?

FD, I don't and I can prove beyond any reasonable doubt.

Can you explain what the point of this thread is, Mozzaok? Huh Other than just an attempt to stir up us nationalists?

Why would criticising Hitler stir up nationalists? Hitler was an enemy of the state.

1) In Mozzaok's mind, Hitler is worshipped by all nationalists. Therefore, criticizing Hitler will stir us up.

2) Why was Hitler an enemy of the state, FD?

Time to check you modern History Donald. Australia was on the side of the Allies. Hitler was on the other side.

Are you a wannabe tinpot nationalist Donald?

I thought you meant Hitler was an enemy of the 'German state,' FD.

That IS what the term 'enemy of the state' implies, right? An enemy against your own state? For acts such as 'treason?' You know, like supporting multiculturalism and immigration?  Wink

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Hitler didn't declare war on Great Britain, FD, nor did he have any intention to.

Yes, he is an enemy of my own state Donald. I am an Australian. How about you? Why are you so touchy about Hitler?

So we were wrong to go to war against him?

I'm not touchy about Hitler specifically.  Huh What gave you that impression?

I think a better question is, why are 'you' so touchy about Hitler, FD? Every thread about him you seem to get really passionate about the topic.

Most of them (Threads on Hitler) I'm pretty sure I just ignore. But it's sometimes pretty hard for me to ignore with statements like, "Oh, DT this one is for you, you naughty, naughty racist."  Roll Eyes

Just my personal opinion... yep.
And no FD, I don't want to get into a large debate about why or why not Britain should or shouldn't have declared war on Germany. Waste of my valuable time.

I stand in awe of FD's ability to extract an infuriating argument, from nearly any situation, kudos to you.

And to Donald, yes, I was just stirring, hoping for a rise from the ultra nationalists, as history has shown us how they poke their heads up in times of economic crisis, and utilise fear and confusion, to promote hatred, and mistrust, in the hope of inspiring violence.

They are such nutters, that they just have to reveal their true beliefs, to make normal people recoil from their nuttiness.

It's a sobering experience when you listen first hand to those who lived with extreme nationalism... not the obvious victims... but those who "enjoyed" the dictatorship's favour... totalitarians are masters at the normalisation of depravity.
