Where can you post Islam topics then? Nearly every board again is getting flooded with anti-Islam stuff. Grendel's even posted a topic on the Multicultural Board.
If you don't want to post on Abu's forum - can you use AN's or Gaybriel's?
I don't have a problem with Abu although I know some of you do.
He just wants people to be polite
- and Sprintcyclist you don't like abuse either. Few of us do.
Gaybriel's board is going well - she's pretty fair - now - and will discuss anything.
mantra,
abu doesn't like open criticism of ISLAM.
.....[and if i was in his position, i would understand why!]
But i
want to criticise ISLAM.
mantra,
I find it difficult to 'politely' criticise a supremacist philosophy, which portrays itself in religious terms,
yet promotes murdering its critics.
You know, in political terms we have names for such political philosophies, we call them
fascist.
Dictionary,
fascism = = an
authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government.
I copied this description of 1930's Italian fascism from Wiki
some time ago.
If you transpose the word
'State' or
'Fascist' with
'ISLAM', the meaning / description still works quite well.....
"The State not only is authority which governs and molds individual wills with laws and values of spiritual life, but it is also power which makes its will prevail abroad...
For the Fascist, everything is within the State and... neither individuals nor groups are outside the State...
For Fascism, the State is an absolute, before which individuals or groups are only relative...
Liberalism denied the State in the name of the individual; Fascism reasserts the rights of the State as expressing the real essence of the individual."
