No, I am not such an idiot.  Leanne was Miss Australia 1981, and I am certain it was a very pissed Kerr who introduced her as Leanne Cock.

I was still mad at him for the dismissal, I loathed the man, and felt he had done a grave disservice to our country, by ousting whitlam for fraser.

I was a bit more pro labor in those days, they had never had a go in my lifetime, and I was naive enough to think that they would always be a better option than the libs.
Now, much older, I still prefer labor to the libs, but I do not hold any false belief that they are any less corrupt after too long in power, governments are like a bucket of prawns, after too long in the sun, they need to be chucked out, and that goes equally for both sides.
