tallowood - hahhah, thought Turnbull was hypnotising the media with that secret handsign ??

oceanz - rudd does not do "honest open debating" very well, he does do "ALP knifeintheback" expertly well.

Turnbull will do better than Nelson but, all you will hear from now until the next election is WORK CHOICES, short of a major stuff up nobody will trust the Libs for a long time becouse of WORKCHOICES.

Under the Libs, there was a choice, there were jobs.

The rate that jobs are disappearing now, there will be no choice at all.

Sprint..I have become increasinlgly disillusioned with Rudds performance over the last few months..so the knife in the back thing Im not sure about really...who did he knife.?

I do know  that he cant handle himself very well on the floor from past experience and Turnbull may eat him for breakfast..

That will be embarrassing.

Nelson's move to call the election was not 'brave'. It was a cynical ploy to get the inevitable over with and hopefully catch turnbull on short notice and not give him enough time to do all the necessary politiking. It backfired on him. Or rather he didn't stand a chance but he nearly got away with it.

At least Turnbull is not into stupid vote buying stunts the way Nelson was. Nelson was gradually sacrificing the Lib's reputation just so he could get his approval rating up into double digits.
