A fair go, or Big Brother Politics

Do we give each other in this country a 'fair go'.

Saw an ad on TV telling us how important it is to give each other a fair go. The Government now ,it seems, needs to launch a campaign to tell us to give those different to us a fair go?We used to be renowned for being the ones to give ALL a fair go. What happened to that ?

Does this then mean that 'big brother'..ie :Aust Govt, was responsible for the general demise of tolerance in this country to begin with.? I beleive it does. So BB uses the meduim of television to brainwash the electorate to its advantage? We are/arent aware of it?

Does this also mean that Governments decide what kind of pple Australians we become by using its influence to program our thinking. As if we cant think for ourselves.?

This is very scary to me.

Am I just being paranoid or have others pondered this question?

We get an awful ot of Americanised programs on our commercial networks and finding their way increasingly into ABC ans SBS as well... I beleiev this is deliberate.

THAT IS SOOOOOO CORRECT.

What ever happened to shows like ''hey dad'' , ''mother and son'' and soforth.
They were genuine Australian shows with genuine Australian principles.

Now we have ''Big brother'' and various American shite which is destroying our culture.

Aus. Nat. I agree with you whole heartedly..

American programs are Amerinaising our kids and so hence forth our cultuer.they are the next generation after all....

The subliminla programming is working a treat. awe see it in the way our kids dress, speak, values, ansd relate to each otther .

At schhol these days we have 'proms' not highschool fromals anymore. We celebrate Halloween for gods sake , this is hideous and insulting to my sense of Aus culture.

I dont want my kids to be little American clones and I do not let them aprcipate for this reason.

What next ..taking guns to school and shooting up all theyre friends and teachers. I will be shocked if that DOES NOT happen here at some point in the future!!!! Sad
