Hi.

I love the political game - the cut and thrust can be so wonderful and so cruel - but lately I've become very disillusioned with the standard in this country. Neither side does anything but annoy me, and the most interesting thing around at the moment is Bob Katter.

Here is hoping this place can provide what our political masters can't - intelligent debate.

Bob Katter is sometimes a ratbag, but always a gentleman.  You've got to love him.... and hate him at the same time.  Grin

Hi, I'm Obese...a Greens voter. I am very perturbed by the negative (and often delusional) nature of political debate in Australia at the moment. I think our nation is heading for trouble if we don't start putting more of a premium on facts and less on fantasy. Smiley

I'm late reporting in too. Despite claims to the contrary, I'm not Pete! For a start, I'm not conservative. What I am is a swinging voter in a marginal seat. That's right folks have real power Smiley

Don't mind reporting that I helped vote Howard in and very happy to report that I helped vote him out. Have also voted Greens and I think even independant at some stage. Post 1975, I swore I wouldn't vote for Libs while Fraser was boss and didn't. Afraid I'm having to do the same while Phoney Tony is in charge.

Got the gist?  Smiley

evening. im new here, so please be nice to me.

im a political science student at uni.... i like politics, im in a safe labor seat for both fed and state. i dont side 100% with any major party, however i would never ever ever vote for the libs while big ears is the leader.

im old enough to have voted Howard out, to keep Tony out and to help Brumby lose his THIRD election.
