I dont agree with your ideas on modern education grap....

what I find is women trying to out do males....they still talk Glass Ceilings... when we have had female PMs for years...   Female heads of BIG BUSINESS females BUILDING THEIR own million dollar business..

what the hell they talking about..

you bring up Jane Austen.... who wrote beautiful books.... in an age where book reading was the norm....I am sure she mixed with many authors of her time as well...

many authors were females....trouble is so many ignore that fact unless they wish to mock it of course...

women do not live in a fantasy world these days grap....some are even harder than the most violent of men..

look at this "mother"  I shudder using the word.....

she should never be allowed to create another human being....shes a monster who should be sterilised...to think they can walk free and go back to living a normal life....because they are shielded and protected inside and out...our system sucks..

It'll be a wrist slap and she can go breed with another monster and start all over again... for 'manslaughter' by neglect she probably won't get any prison time.... they'll take into account her bad upbringing replete with violence and stuff, poor education and ability to understand things, her devastation at the loss of a beloved child etc... and she might be punished by fellow inmates as a 'baby killer' ..... and off she goes....

Hope they put the killer in with the general population and broadcast it about.... just drop a hint that the guy with the new name is actually a child killer....

That stupid bill allows all the country shopping economic migrants as Bob Carr called them to come here even if they're healthy.

what a load of rubbish. There is something about allowing someone to accompany them whilst they get their medical treatment, but no one gets to stay here. Once treatment is over they both go back.

The only rubbish here is from the dopey dim witted leftists.

Where do these people who don't have to be related to the person getting medical treatment stay, do we put them up at taxpayers expense in the Hilton or the Sheraton hotels?

Who feeds these people do we give them food vouchers at taxpayers expense to dine in fine restaurants?

There are no measures to stop these people who doctors allow to accompany persons seeking treatment from absconding which shows another flaw in that bill allowing illegal immigrants to enter Australia thanks to dopey dim witted leftists.

"(1) Amendment (2), at the end of section 198C, add:

"Note: Any transitory person who is brought to Australia for a temporary purpose must be kept in immigration detention whilst in Australia.

"That immigration detention must continue until the time of removal from Australia or until the Minister determines that immigration detention is no longer required."

If the people who doctors allow to accompany someone getting treatment are to stay in immigration detention why waste the money flying them here in the first place?

If they're allowed to visit the hospital which would be why they're allowed to accompany the patient would that require more immigration staff to ferry these people back and forth and keep an eye on them, do we even have enough people employed to do that?

A seriously flawed bill from bill.

putting them up at the hilton, with breakfast lunch and dinner thrown is still far cheaper than what we're paying to keep them on Nauru. Each asylum seeker is costing us $1600 PER DAY to keep on Nauru or manus.

there is no amount of bullshit you won't spew out in your endeavour to demonize asylum seekers.

In this case refugees.

Just about everyone left on Manus Island and Nauru are actually refugees (just over 1,000 of them).

And now, not only does Baron want to deny them medical treatment, he also wants to deny them food.

It worries me what's happening to this country.

The last lot of detainees with their kids who were smuggled into Adelaide under the cover of darkness were indeed put up at the Hilton, they are probably still there enjoying all the creature comforts, while out of their window they see the local homeless begging.

5  General Discussion / General Board / 99.9% of Australia's Gold Reserves are in England

Reserve Bank of Australia Admits 99.9% of Australia's Gold Reserves are held at the Bank of England

...

Hey UK! It's not just Venezuela, what happened to Australia's gold?
However, there are questions whether the gold is still there.

After a campaign to seek clarity in regards to the location of Australia's Gold Reserves the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has confirmed that 99.9% of their Gold Reserves are held in the gold vault of the Bank of England.
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) claims to have 80 tons of the precious metal. Nearly all of the country's gold bars are reportedly stored in a bailment arrangement, in an allocated gold account, at the Bank of England vaults in London, with a very small amount of gold stored at the RBA headquarters in Sydney. However, there are questions whether the gold is still there, according to Manly.

“There have never been any independent physical audits of this gold, which means that there is no way to verify the RBA's claim that it has all the gold it claims to have,” Manly told RT.

The latest, partial, audit of Australia's gold holdings was reportedly conducted in 2013, but the results of the checking have never been released neither by the Bank of England nor by the RBA, with a freedom of information request for the findings and the final report denied by both.
Bank of Australia held 80 tonnes of gold in London Good Delivery bars. The Reserve Bank holds 99.9 per cent of its gold reserves in the United Kingdom at the Bank of England. The remaining 0.1 per cent is held at the Reserve Bank’s Head Office in Sydney.

You've got to be a bigot to be popular, Sot (want to keep up with the abusive nick-names?).

And you don't just fit in, you're worshipped.

As for catching fleas? Baby, you're covered in welts.

I didn't start the nick names, look to Aussie and Mimo for that. As Aussie would say, just returning fire.

Why would you think I'm worshipped? How come I've never felt it? I should start my own religion. You want to become a member?

You started it with me. You called me some strange Japanese name which i assume is an inside joke you share with your chums.

I called you no name until you called me one.

As is always the way with me.

Funny, the only potshots I remember are me supporting your your return. Crazy eh? I have since had second thoughts.

Do us all a favour and ban him again.   Wink
