All this may be true but the bigger picture is worth looking at. We know Trump to be sly yet of very low intelligence. There’s no way he could have thought up the many strategic moves he made. His instructions came from Moscow whispered in his little pink ears by his boyfriend Putin in full public view. The Russians and the Chinese have played a long game with Trump and now have access to one of the world’s largest sources of rare earth minerals in Afghanistan.
Does anyone really imagine the Taliban were so strategically brilliant to take control again with  astonishing speed without strategic assistance from intelligence provided by Russian and Chinese satellites?
Given the treatment dished out to the Chinese Wiega population doesn’t anyone feel there’s something very odd about Russia & China cuddling up to the Taliban?
