I also don't think gender should be the deciding factor when violence it used.
If a physical threat is presented by anyone, then a physical response is apropriate.

When people make noises with their face, they're just noises and you should make noises with your face back at them :)

This is the issue I have with Aussie pinning a kid to a tree.

There was no further threat of damage to his car. Pinning the kid to a tree in no way assisted with rectifying the damage to his car. He pinned the kid to a tree to make himself feel better.

When Aussie he says he'd use violence against a woman because of utterances, I believe him, and I also rate the chance that he's used violence against a woman in the past as highly probably.

Big man hey. I have not problem with the word or calling a woman a Cunt. No different than calling a guy Dick. Have no problem with either of them used on the other sex when appropriate. It's not the words that are a problem in his invective, it's the intensity, the hatred, the intent. I also don't think gender should be the deciding factor when violence it used. If a physical threat is presented by anyone, then a physical response is apropriate. When people make noises with their face, they're just noises and you should make noises with your face back at them :) This is the issue I have with Aussie pinning a kid to a tree. There was no further threat of damage to his car. Pinning the kid to a tree in no way assisted with rectifying the damage to his car. He pinned the kid to a tree to make himself feel better. When Aussie he says he'd use violence against a woman because of utterances, I believe him, and I also rate the chance that he's used violence against a woman in the past as highly probably.

I don't know how this shifted to actual violence against women. I'm of the opinion it should not happen in a personal relationship. I can understand that in fight or flight  shyte happens but that is not my point either. My point was just calling names, they can be on a scale from loved to vicious. Same words different meaning behind them. It's the intent behind the words that show the mind behind the words, loving,good, joking or malevolent.

You can almost feel the malevolence in his words. The hate.

Edit: Just thinking on a language tangent, you could say English has it's fair share of tonal content too, see Chinese language.
