My my - it's awfully quiet here in General Board.
The place has become like a deserted Station ruined by drought.
*tumbleweed blows across the dusty street.

Since Coronavirus infected this Forum.
The usually hot General Board goes great guns.
But now, it's a shadow of it's former self, with wraith-like members darting from one shadow to the next.
You could only wonder what they have to feed on here now?
The shelves are empty, everything is like locked away somewhere else. It's like an invisible cloud or mist came and took everyone away.

I fear, that the Corona Virus is infecting this Forum.
I've already had to close my 'Travel' Board down... for obvious reasons.

Now the General Board is suffering.

So please. Give generously to the Go Fund Me General Board. We don't accept cash, card or digital. We want a Pig.

Feels wintry now, and clocks wind back one hour as DLS ends, yipeee!
The hail came so loud and suddenly, I thought a truck was coming through the house! 😮

Sun, Rain, Wind... but thankfully no Fire.

Drove from my place along a grass path to the lake.
There I sat on a bench looking at the Moon over _______.
The water was almost glassy still, but for the stars and street lights dancing upon it.

I never have liked it either!
It ended today, so I wonder, if this virus restructure lifestyle goes on till late in the year, can DLS be omitted?
Because if the great outdoors is a no no, then why encourage it with DLS?

Wouldn’t that be good to stop it! 🤗
What reason was it implemented for? To spend more time out of home and doing more outdoor activities?
Well if virus C is still “out there” by October, I will be the first person to tell our Govt DLS is not recommended!

Nothing is general - everything is specific.

DLS is the dumbest thing.

Nature is always on time.
Human time tends to fall back an hour and then take 6 months to catch up again.

You're right. I picked up the vibe straight away after you did it. Corona has surely rocked the joint like no other Topic. This is OzPolitics making it's own history right now. Will it gain more members from socially isolated seeking escape or will it see members drop like flies coughing airspray?

I think Corona really upset my 'routine' I had with OzPol previously.

It has almost killed the general board! Made it a bit bed ridden.

I was watching our celebs on tv commenting...Amanda Keller (From The Living Room) was mentioning about the funny memes. She is enjoying them too.
I think we all love them, so funny, creative and keeps the spirits up.

This morning I was thinking about our Doctors we have had over the ages, and one that had retired, and it occurred to me, no matter how much money they have, now can’t travel anywhere just like the rest of us.

Amazing isn’t it, what an equaliser this tiny little viral droplet can do to all.

What I love doing that keep me feeling okay, is humour and music on the internet.
And sending it to my kids and them sending me some in return.

Yesterday, I had to get out of my PJs and into normal clothes 😏 to go pay my account to the dentist, as they are only open one day week now due to restrictions.
I went to the local shopping centre to see what’s happening, all so eerily empty of people, clothes stores shut, all chairs removed.
I went into Big W and as I was walking around a corner, a young lady walked from behind that corner, we nearly collided, we both froze and jumped a metre away from each other, I couldn’t help myself and laughed, she had a chuckle also.

You know, I realised we are all made to feel like every human is toxic to be near. How sad. I hope this bs ends soon and we can all be okay with each other again. Hope it doesn’t effect some people permanently.
In Woolies there was a check out man, new, never seen him before, very elderly. I spoke to him about my daughter in law starting her check out job in Coles the day before. Remembering what she said about people seeming stressed and not wanting to talk.
But I talked 👍 and he asked me what hours she did. I told him all about it.
Crack a joke or two, the lady waiting to be served next, had on her homemade tiger print mask, was smiling at me (can tell by the eyes) and after I packed my foodstuff, the elderly guy thanked me... (must have been for friendly talkativeness)

So there, do not equate “social distance” as being unfriendly and if fact, I despise the words “social distancing” it should be “physical distancing” !!

Well, that was my social big day out in a week! 😂
