Title: Greta Thunberg, an amazing child
Post by Laugh till you cry on Aug 15th, 2019 at 9:38am
Greta Thunberg is heading to the UN to speak to the world on climate change.

A child is admonishing the adult leadership of the world for their negligence and incompetence.

Anchors away: Teen eco-activist Greta Thunberg sets sail for UN conference on zero-carbon boat
Elizabeth Lawrence, USA TODAY Published 5:27 p.m. ET Aug. 14, 2019 | Updated 5:28 p.m. ET Aug. 14, 2019

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg began her journey to the United States today for the United Nations Climate Conference. Her mode of travel is fitting for someone who's climate conscious: She's arriving in an eco-friendly boat.

The 16-year-old, who has inspired youth protests around the world, left Wednesday afternoon from Plymouth in the United Kingdom. She's making her two week voyage across the Atlantic in a zero-emissions racing yacht, emphasizing the need to reduce carbon emissions worldwide.

I hope she's not left alone in the company of Donald Trump while she's there.

Your personal obsession with dragging Trump into every single smacking thread is getting as boring as Abus’ repetitive non sequitur nonsense and Aussie whinging about rules and moderation.

Forum post count  is dominated by a few posters who have seemingly nothing better at all to do with their time then spend it all here repeating themselves.

bahh, couldn’t be bothered.

Nothing wrong with bagging Muslims who do bad things.

Would you leave a teenage girl alone with Donald Trump?

Poor petal; unable to keep up with the news. Her mother reported it in a book. You're not saying the mother lied are you? :-?

"Climate activist Greta Thunberg has set sail from Plymouth on what could be her most daunting challenge yet - crossing the Atlantic in a solar-powered racing yacht.

'I feel a bit seasick and it's not going to be comfortable but that I can live with,' said the 16-year-old climate activist ahead of her two-week voyage."

We'll see how she feels after a couple of weeks.

"It has no toilets, kitchen or privacy - so Greta is in for an uncomfortable voyage."

No I think he is mocking you as well for posting this dribble about a precocious child.

It's well documented about the idiot statement made by her mother that she can see CO2 ....

does the child believe that as well?

If she does then her future credibility has been severely hamstrung.

Just like yours.

Being a long time sailor, and the owner of two sailboats at the present, I can tell you first hand that there is nothing green about a sailboat.

About 90% of that boat came out of a barrel of crude oil.

The hull
The sails
The lines
The navigation equipment
