Title: Not So Fast, LNP
Post by PZ547 on May 21st, 2019 at 4:11am
.
Picked this up around the traps

Quote:
Something to note though the Coalition has nothing to gloat about or say they have a mandate for as currently, the votes read:
Coalition 4,905, 558
Labour 4, 012,663
Greens 1,189,933
Others 987,911
UAP 397,460
One Nation 353,791

So 4,095,558 people voted for the Coalition and 8,131,690 voted for Labor and other parties/people, In other words, more Australians voted NOT TO HAVE THE COALITION as the government, but as we know it's not that simple

Wow! That's a new angle on the Truth of it.
Yes - the MINORITY CHOICE gets into power!
Who said Australian Politics can't be a TEAM EFFORT???

Very good Point.
So is the 'majority' of voted oppositional Parties going to put the Coalition to work!?  ;)

As well as that, many votes lose 100% of their value ... and are thrown in the rubbish bin ... and for those voters, voting was a worthless exercise

Just FYI 7,834,683 voted not to have a Labor government. Also, your figure is wrong by almost 900,000. According to your figures, 6,941,758 didn't vote for the Coalition. So Labor still wouldn't have won.

Gosh, now the Lefties are trying to fudge the numbers. How low can you go ?

Yes Lefties Labor did win.
