Title: ScoMo brilliant election winner
Post by juliar on Nov 16th, 2018 at 11:46am
ScoMo kicks sand in the Greenies' face as he proposes the much needed cut to immigration.

Now the Greenies want Labor to RESTART the BOATS and illegally bring thousands of violent Black African Terrorists into Australia to create ghettos of Black Power Fear around Australia where Whites cannot go.

So if Labor RESTARTS the BOATS they will greatly increase the number of illegals invading Australia and completely overthrow any reduction in immigration.

So DO NOT VOTE FOR LABOR  or the GREENIES!!!

Australia’s migrant intake could be slashed
news.com.auNOVEMBER 16, 20189:38AM

What will happen if Labor and the Greenies seize control of Australia

Australia could slash the number of migrants and may give more preference to skilled workers, according a report.

What happens when migrants break Australian law?

The Federal Government is reportedly considering a cut to the number of migrants allowed to enter Australia while also increasing the focus on getting the “best and brightest”.

A review of the immigration cap, which currently allows 190,000 migrants a year into Australia, could see it slashed by 30,000 people, 9News is reporting.

The Government may also increase the proportion of skilled migrants accepted as part of the program.

It comes as Prime Minister Scott Morrison has flagged migrants could be asked to spend five years in a regional area if they want permanent residency.

It will be up to states to plan where new migrants should settle under potential changes to Australia’s national migration program because the states plan roads, hospitals and schools.

“This is a blinding piece of common sense, which is: How about states who plan for population growth and the Commonwealth Government who sets the migration levels, actually bring this together?” Mr Morrison told Sky News on Monday.

State governments already tell the federal government how many migrants they want, but Mr Morrison said the process wasn’t working.

“The classic example is the NSW Government actually asked for more people, now they say they need less,” he said.

Instead, the prime minister wants to see states work closely with Canberra on where migrants should go, and where expansion should happen.

“They are in the best position to actually make a judgment about what the carrying capacity is in their state and territory,” he said.

“We’ll set what the cap is, we’ll let it be demand-driven, but it has to be based on what the carrying capacity is at state and territory level.”

Mr Morrison said the push to get migrants out to regional areas could be done with conditions on non-permanent visas.

“If you want permanent residency in this country and you’re on a non-permanent visa, and you haven’t been compliant with the terms of your non-permanent visa, you don’t get a permanent residency visa and you go home,” he said.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton said migrants can live wherever they want in Australia, but there could be ways to encourage people to regional areas.

“There are incentives you can put in place and the Government is contemplating all of this at the moment as how you might provide incentives for people to move out into the regions,” he told reporters.

“There are some regional towns, here in Queensland for example, where the abattoir doesn’t remain open without that migrant workforce.”

Morrison follows Trump rejecting UN migration deal
Updated 1 hour ago

VIDEO: ScoMo Trumps UN slime deal

Australia won't be signing a UN-sponsored document on safe and orderly migration because Scott Morrison says it would compromise the country's borders.

Scott Morrison will follow in Donald Trump's footsteps by refusing to sign a global covenant on migration.

The prime minister says the UN's Global Compact on Migration would compromise Australia's border security and undermine its immigration settings.

"It doesn't distinguish between those who illegally enter Australia and those who come the right way," he told 2GB radio on Wednesday.

"I would never allow something to compromise our borders, I worked too hard to ensure that we weren't in that position."

The agreement is supposed to support safe and orderly migration.

But Mr Morrison said a key sticking point was the failure of the document to differentiate between illegal and "proper" migration when it comes to providing welfare benefits.

The US, Israel, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Hungary and Bulgaria have refused to sign the agreement.

The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration was finalised in July and is to be formally approved at a December meeting in Marrakesh, Morocco, before being passed by a resolution in the UN General Assembly in January. It is not legally binding.

Smell the Lib's fear.

First the backflip on raising the pension age to 70 and now this. Amazing what an upcoming election can do.

ScoMo is desperate to try and win votes but it won't save him or his party.

Big wipeout for the Libs coming up next year. Especially here in WA.

Good riddance... the Federal election can't come soon enough.

ScoMo is not afraid to change horses mid stream if it is better. Just because he said something doesn't mean it is set in concrete.

ScoMo is dynamic in his approach and adapts quickly to gain the advantage over sluggish Shorty.

Slimy GetUp! has told Shorty who has the charisma of a dead fish to stay out of sight and sound in the futile hope that ScoMo won't successfully swing the normal straight voters.

As each day passes Labor gets deader.

"In a dramatic new stance on population policy, Mr Morrison declared on Monday that Australians were telling him "enough, enough, enough" on population growth because their roads were clogged and their buses were full."

Good one Morrison, doesn't he have any eyeballs of his own! does he live in a bubble FFS.
A 30,000 reduction is a token gesture to appease the masses, we will have to wait until we get closer to the election to see if anything actually happens, A 30,000 reduction is not going to alleviate the infrastructure problem as 160,000 per year will still swamp this nation.
And how about addressing the 46% of Australians who want decrease in Muslim immigration.

Can ScoMo do no wrong in the eyes of the normal straight Australian voters who despise scungy little Shorty ?

Now ANOTHER thrilling election winning triumph for ScoMo who has done what the blundering sloppy Labor galoots could never do - fixed the GST!!!!!

Prime Minister Scott Morrison is WA’s GST hero
Gareth November 19, 2018 3:00AM

ScoMo the GST HERO of Australia!!!!

VIDEO: The package, which will deliver WA an extra $2.7 billion in GST next decade, went through the Upper House this morning.

WEST Australians should commission a statue of Scott Morrison, cast in steel made from Pilbara iron ore.

And he should sit right up front in the first car in the motorcade in a tickertape parade down St Georges Terrace.

It will be a very long procession, and the floats will be full with hangers-on. Every man and his dog is taking credit for WA’s hard-fought GST victory, and some of them even deserve it.

But make no mistake that it was Morrison’s leadership that drove the issue beyond grievance to action.

Plenty of people diagnosed the problem, though few earlier than Eric Ripper. In 2008 the Labor treasurer warned an iceberg was coming.

No one raised the issue more persistently than Colin Barnett — indeed he invoked the rhetoric of the Boston Tea Party while taking the case national.

Barnett’s role in the story is paradoxical.

He warned — correctly — how the Federation would fray if it was not taken seriously, and pointed out — correctly — that this issue was always within the power of the Federal treasurer of the day to solve.

While Wayne Swan and Joe Hockey hid behind the Commonwealth Grants Commission or the supposed need for all the States’ to agree on a change, Barnett was spot on that the distribution was entirely a matter for the Federal treasurer.

Barnett was also first to suggest that WA was prepared to do some lifting, but that a cents-in-dollar floor of, say, 70-75¢ would provide an appropriate level of support to weaker States without impoverishing WA.

But his spendthrift management of the finances — his pig-headed refusal to deal with the realities of the system — plunged WA’s finances into crisis and made the national argument harder to win.

Blowing the books meant other States could simply point to fiscal malfeasance and ask why they should lift a finger to fix WA’s own mess.

Barnett urged prime ministerial leadership on the issue, but was never able to fully secure it, not from Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard or Tony Abbott.

Malcolm Turnbull came close, bringing to the Liberal Party’s 2016 State Conference a vague pledge to implement a floor at some future date.

But the vow was never fleshed out, leaving Barnett exposed and dogging Turnbull every time he set foot in WA.

Many voters felt let down by their representatives in Canberra, though in truth the internal lobbying was intense.

Morrison suggested national interest arguments needed to carry the day, and a Productivity Commission inquiry that WA Liberals had argued for provided the pretext for action.

On the Labor side, Tim Hammond worked hard on Bill Shorten and Chris Bowen, convincing them that they could not just ignore the issue.

McGowan was the beneficiary of favourable national dynamics: a coalition staring down the barrel of electoral defeat, but he and Ben Wyatt skilfully exploited their leverage.

All along the way media including The Sunday Times, The West Australian and talkback radio kept politicians’ feet to the fire, fuelled by the anger of their audiences.

The final landing spot is a compromise, as it had to be, and the no-worse-off guarantee means the laggards will still be insulated from their failure to fully develop their own economies.

But there is at least fairness for WA. Even if ScoMo is obliterated within months at a general election, as seems likely, history will record that he fixed it, as he promised. For that, he should always be an honorary Sandgroper.
