"Hannah Beazley, the daughter of former federal Labor leader and opposition leader Kim Beazley, has been preselected to run for his old Perth seat of Swan at the next federal election."

Kim Beazley's daughter to run for federal seat of Swan

She's a lovely girl (woman now).

I hope she can win this seat back for Labor.

Hope she does better than her dad.

It was an interesting period in politics we had Howard who knew how to win elections but was a dreadful PM and at the same time Beasley who would have been a goof PM but had no idea on how to win an election.

Funny system we have where the selection criteria is mostly detrimental to job performance.

My family has known the Beazleys for years.

All wonderful people.

Kim is a great guy, but I must admit that I disagree with him on a few things.

He beat Howard all those years ago, but didn't win enough seats to form government.

That was a shame.

I had lunch with him a few days after the election, and he was in good spirits.

Hannah, however, was devastated (she was about 16 years old).

I knew from that day that she would go on to fight for her Dad and his beliefs.

I'm very excited to have her running in my seat.

Nepotism is rife in socialist organizations :)

She'd have to have an awful lot of family members living in her electorate for nepotism to get her elected.

Maybe you've been inhaling too many Bondi Cigars.

Family members following their relatives into politics is extremely common.

I'm guessing you've heard of the Bush family in the United states.

Not too sure if they belong to any socialist organisations.

This is how it all starts.
This is where 'Blood' is thicker than 'qualification'.
You see it emerging in USA Politics and Entertainment.

The flaw with 'blood' when it comes to positions of Power and Privilege is that it is 'poisoned blood'. Always has been, always will.

In the picture, Beastly looks like Marlon Brando in his poncho-wearing days.

The only thing Beastly ever won was the race to the buffet.
