Well worth a listen
more strength to her.
Of course she is out numbered and people like the usual suspects here will deny and ignore her and her words and those of many of us, till the cows come in.

She took a sign made by the kids, but not the kids?  Wow - that's a serious libel.... is there a fundamental difference between taking the kids themselves and just taking their thoughts?  What were those thoughts based on?  How did those kids develop those thoughts?  Who designed the 'intellectual property' of these children?

A 'substantial sum' in such a case should be one penny.

And then she started making fun of foreign sounding names. That's something that 8 year olds do.

I stopped wasting my time watching at that point

And then she suddenly burst out of her shell and went 'international' with rage at what the idiots who have been running Britain have been doing over the years with Third World immigration that includes several million Muslims.

The tacit message she's giving when pronouncing these Arabic names is "What the hell are these alien, Middle Eastern Third World foreigners doing in my ancestral homeland?" That's the point of choking on their names ~ names totally alien to anything even remotely British.

Why?  What is in a name, "Nicole", in a foreign country, that concerns you?

Tell me, how do you pronounce the surnames, "St.John", "Featherstonehaw", "Acer", "Bowie". "Dalziel", "Faneuil", "Icke", "Kearney", "Keynes", "Wodehouse".

English is full of foreign names, taken from invaders (Saxon, Norman, Spanish), from immigrants (German, French, Italian, Irish, Indian sub-continent, Africa).   To deride people on the basis of their names is pointless.

I'd take anything that Katie Hopkins says on advice.  She has undergone a lobotomy, to correct her Epilepsy (which BTW she hid from the British Army when she was undergoing training at Sandhurst). Such operations often have side effects.   Her C.V. reads of numerous offensive comments.  It is almost as if she suffers from Tourettes.    ::)

You do know that they were both together as members of the Roman empire and then much of the middle east were included in the British empire ?  Then there was every invader to Britten from the Viking Persians Germans raids from the Mongols etc.

You know she stopped short of the real message. She never got to that. She presented no solutions just moaned about her perception of the problem.

You know her stated solution to refugee arrivals was to sink them at sea ?

I am sure the Celts said that about the Romans, Soren.  And the Saxons said it about the Danes (your lot).  They also said it about the Normans.   They've also said it about every other immigrant group throughout history and it is like your comments, based on ignorance.

Today, we (supposedly but in your case, I doubt it) much more accepting of differences - of difference speech, different dress, different culture, different religion, different food.   We have Multiculturalism, which 85% of us agree is good for Australia.   You're in the minority with your whinges and your whines, Soren.  Why should we listen to you?   The majority have spoken, numerous times.   They like Multiculturalism.  They like immigration and immigrants.    ::) ::)

Another lie bwian you know Hawke refused a referendum on it because he knew it would fail and he'd have to change the settlement policy.  You know other surveys have shown most Australians even up to 93% have been against it.  You still denying that one bwian.  Well somewhere on this site is the proof I posted years ago about it.

We don't hear you whining about this mob:

It is just always about Muslims.

How many Celts/Scots are going around beheading, blowing up, running over people etc, etc, etc bwian.  Oh dear look at that another one of your false arguments shot full of holes eh.

AfD politician, Rainer Rahn, of the Frankfurt city council, was sued for racial incitement by the left-wing faction leader of “Die Linke” Martin Kliehm. Why? He had the audacity to read 30 newspaper headlines out loud.

In an interview with Frankfurt broadcasting, Martin Kliehm said the AfD member was trying to incite the people against refugees, Muslims and migrants. Hence, he sued him.

The reason for Rahn’s action was his criticism of SPD party migration officer Aydan Özoguz. Mr. Özoguz said that there is no German culture because it has always been influenced by outside influences and migration.

Mr. Rahn proceeded to say that you can see the daily results of Migration on the street. He then read 30 newspaper headlines from different papers, on proven or suspected crimes by foreigners, Muslims and migrants.

Many councilmen left the room because of it. Mayor Uwe Becker even went so far as to call him an embarrassment, followed by applause.

Kliehm says Mr. Rahn was using this platform to demean refugees and migrants across the board, calling them criminal and inferior. He further believes he may have disrupted the public peace with his words.

Mr. Rahn told the Frankfurt broadcasting station: “There are enough idiots suing someone every day for something. That’s nothing strange.” He further stated that it was now in the hands of the judicial process to investigate the claims and that he is not worried by it.

The only racial incitement he sees was inflicted by the politician Özoguz when he stated that there is no German culture. “That’s incitement of the people!”

You must not read out news items about migrant crime, you must not mispronounce their names, you must not laugh at them, make jokes - you must respect them to the extent they do not respect you.

They can disregard all your customs, values and habits but YOU must respect ALL their values and habits and customs.

Well, screw that.

Didn't they, Soren?  You have Burns Societies, Burns Night, you have Scottish dancing festivals, you have Polish dancing festivals, etc.   They are all reminders of what they left behind and that is what Muslims are doing as well.   They all want to change Australian society.  Just as you do.  You want it to resemble the Denmark you left behind, Soren - all White, all Aryan, all Blonde and blue-eyed.  Tsk, tsk.   ::)

Nothing in that definition states that the dislike has to be directed towards all foreign people, Selanta.   It can be directed towards one foreign group.

How about instead, I use the term, "bigoted"?  Does that satisfy your pedantry?    ::)

Islam is a religion, Selanta, first and foremost.  If you wish to liken it to an ideology, you must accept that all other religions are similar.  Christianity, Judiasm, Buddhism, Hinduism, you name them, they all believe they have the path to righteousness.   All have directions how their believers should live their lives, how they should treat each other and non-believers.    ::)

You seriously see no difference in the religions in how they expect their societies to run? Whether the law of the land they live in comes first? What a load of balls. Each one should be judged individually on its own.

A religion is merely a collection of rules and ideas, and they should also be judged on how the followers choose to interpret those rules and ideas.

Do all religions have legality on how those who do not follow their religion act?

I do condemn them all. I think it's pretty much on record here what I think of religions but not all are equal just as not all societies are equal and not all people are equal on the scale of good/bad. You'll notice I do not pick on Muslims, I have no problems picking on what they believe, just as you have a go at ideologies you do not like. The funny thing is I would think you'd rather not live in a counrty ruled by this ideology. It should not be defended but condemned.

All religions have their own views on the legality of how their believers act, Selanta.  All religions.   So, if you're going to condemn one, you really need to condemn them all, otherwise you are persecuting only one religion.    ::)

Brian has claimed he has no right or even ability to criticise other nations or religions. So it is strange to see him insist you must condemn them all. Perhaps he is saying you should not condemn any of them. The only thing he is consistent in is leaping to the defence of Islam.

Furthermore the intensity and level of religiosity of followers of Islam is just so much higher.

Millions upon millions of them carry on with same level of nuttyness as a group like Westboro, which numbers barely 50 people.

Westboro?  Funny, I've always been told they aren't real Christians, Gordon.

How about the Brotherhood, Opus Dei, and so on?  They number quite a few more...   ::)

What a load of balls. Each one should be judged individually on its own.

A religion is merely a collection of rules and ideas, and they should also be judged on how the followers choose to interpret those rules and ideas.

So, why then condemn Australian Muslims, Gordon?  They appear, overwhelmingly, to be following their religion's views peacefully, within Australia's legal system.   Why always drag up overseas examples to condemn Australian Muslims?  Mmmm?     ::)

What the problem is, Hammer, is that people like you take the word of the extremists that they represent what Islam is all about, rather than the word of the overwhelming majority of peaceful, law-abiding Muslims who say otherwise and who are in the main, the victims of the extremists.

When you can learn to sort out the differences between the extremists and the moderates and actually listen and understand what the moderates are saying, then you might come to understand what Islam is about.

However, I won't be holding my breath because your a bigoted, Racist, Xenophobe, now aren't you and you enjoy persecuting people, not because of what they do or believe but because of what you think they do and believe.   Tsk, tsk.    ::)

Push to jail brutal Vic murderer for life
Dec 1, 2017

Prosecutors want an Islamic State sympathiser who murdered and mutilated his wife in front of their children to be jailed for life without parole.

But a lawyer for the Melbourne killer, who cannot be named to protect his children, says his client was suffering from drug-induced psychosis at the time, which could affect his sentence.

The 36-year-old appeared before the Victorian Supreme Court on Friday for a pre-sentence hearing after pleading guilty to murdering his wife at their Broadmeadows home in 2016.

Prosecutor Sharn Coombes said the couple's children - aged two, four and six at the time - saw their father repeatedly attack their mother with a knife.

"The accused set upon a prolonged and vicious attack on his wife, murdering her in front of their three children," she told the court.

"The two oldest children described their father having 'slaughtered' their mother in front of them."

An autopsy revealed the 27-year-old woman died of blood loss, with multiple wounds to her face and genitals, a gouged-out right eye, and two amputated fingers.

Two of the children told authorities they saw their father flush their mother's eye down the toilet.

The man later took his three young children with him to dump the body and afterwards ate pastries at a bakery.

"He closed the boot, then he sat on the boot to see if mum got up," the boy told authorities.

"Mummy didn't get up."

A jogger found the body in bushes near the Dallas tennis club on June 17, 2016, and she remained unidentified for three weeks.

Her husband was arrested on July 4, 2016 after police went to the family home to check on the children.

No one had reported the woman missing. She moved to Australia from Lebanon and was cut off from friends and family because of her husband's controlling behaviour.

He did not allow her to speak freely and refused to send the children to school and wanted them to only speak Lebanese, learn the Koran, and learn about guns and swords, war and jihad.

Life without on the chain gang in the hot sun - that'll soon drain the drugs out of him and improve the psychosis.... I'm certain two weeks would see a remarkable turnaround in that mental issue.....

Nothing in that definition states that the dislike has to be directed towards all foreign people, Selanta.   It can be directed towards one foreign group.

How about instead, I use the term, "bigoted"?  Does that satisfy your pedantry?    ::)

Sure. How about you use that instead. On the other hand Islam is an ideology and religion, not liking it has nothing to do with being bigoted unless you are also a bigot because there are ideologies you do not appreciate.

Well, I won't comment until a link is posted, except to note that as you've mentioned it, there is a disparity of attitudes across national boundaries and I'd suggest it all depends on the education level and the socio-economic standing of the respondent.

When you tell us what the average is for Australian Muslims, it will be much more interesting.

Oh, and BTW, how many Christians believe in the death penalty for crimes such as Treason, I wonder?

It is the choice of the Muslims what they wish to believe, Selanta.  It is the choice of the Australian legal system what Australians, no matter what the citizens' belief system or culture or "race" may do, legally.   Killing someone illegally, is either Homicide or Manslaughter, according to our laws.   Which laws do Australian Muslims live by, again?    ::)

That is an alarming percentage of believers. Can you show me this same level of violence in another religion? Like I said, there is a gradient, good<-->bad for religions, ideology and people. Islam is at the bad end of the scale. It has no defence, it's obvious what it does to it's followers, help save people from this abomination of an ideology rather than defend it.

Brian will suddenly decide he is only capable of talking about Australian Muslims, whom he regularly speaks on behalf of.

Oh, excuse me, FD.  Who do you speak for when you attack all Muslims, again?   Let me check, what is the name of this forum again?  Oh, that's right, "Oz Politics".   I've always assumed the emphasis was on Australian Politics...   ::)

I speak for myself. You frequently claim to know what they think. You have never explained how. But when someone produces a survey showing what they say they think, you run a mile.

It is interesting to see your gauche attempt at subtle dishonesty, Bwian.

"It is the choice of the Muslims what they wish to believe".  But you do not say that it is also "the choice of Australians what they wish to believe".

Why?

Mostly because in your addled mind it is OK for Muslims to reject Western civilisational values but NOT OK for Westerners to reject Islamic values.

Why is one OK but not the other, Bwian?

Well, of course it is not OK allow Muslims what is not given to Australians and it's a completely unprincipled contradiction, a product of your sly and silly mind.

::) ::) ::)  tsk, tsk.

Do Muslims have the right to criticise and condemn the West and the fact it is their countries that are being invaded based on bullshit???

I don't have a problem with Muslims criticising these stupid wars. They were a big mistake. I have a problem with Muslims playing the victim and blaming their communities problems and actions solely on this. Islamic terrorism has been going on for hundreds of years. They have some rotten fruit that's causing big problems.

Oh, dearie, dearie, me.   What is it Australians believe, Soren?   Well, it appears they believe in things quite different to you.  They actually like Multiculturalism.   They actually like immigrants.   They actually accept people believing in different religions.  Yes, they'd like the immigrants to assimilate but they're willing to accept that in the meantime they can practice their own version of Australian culture.

You, OTOH, are on record, hating migrants on the basis of their "race", the colour of their skin/shape of their eyes/thickness of their lips.   You are on record hating migrants who refuse to conform to how you believe they should behave, like good little Xenophobic/Bigoted Racist Danes.   You are on record stating that all other cultures are inferior to your preferred Danish one.

You know, it appears that you hate everybody and everything that is Australian society.   We are a Multicultural, Multi-"race", Multi-ethnic,  Multi-Religious and now it seems Multi-Sexual society.   You don't fit in here at all, Soren.   Time I think you migrated back to Denmark.   When are you leaving?   Oh, thats right, the Danes are now Multicultural, Multi-"race", Multi-ethnic,  Multi-Religious and now it seems Multi-Sexual as well.    Oh, dear.  No where for you to feel at home, at all.  Tsk, tsk.   ::) ::)

And then Turnbull made a little speech today about the government being there to serve the will of the people, blah blah blah. Rhetorical bullshit.

The majority want coal-fired power and a score of other things which are being ignored by the born-to-rule mob down in Canberra.

The Government is elected by a General Election where all seats in the House of Representatives are declared vacant, Herbie.  The Australian people vote on the candidates who stand in their local seat.  The Party that can muster the greatest number of seats forms Government.  The Government serves the people because the people have expressed their views through that electoral process.

Now, if you need the concepts of Democracy explained to you, again, please ask.  You are allowed to use your fingers and you can speak the words out loud if the concepts confuse you.    You may find it useful, rather than relying on inaccurate Public Opinion Polls, which present only a snapshot of the immediate views of the Australian population.

If you have problems understanding that, please ask and I'm sure someone will explain it to you.   Tsk, tsk.   ::) ::)

bwian has got nothing except that sad demented fantasy in his little head.

He will lie and lie to himself, there is nothing he will not stoop to to maintain his fantasy he's been like that for at least 20 years...

It's useless posting valid opinions or the truth, reality doesn't come into it with bwian.

You are wasting your time and he's happy to waste yours... ::) ::) ::)
