"He was also associated with the Labor Party in the 1990s."

Labor is included in the following criminality ...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Australian_politicians_convicted_of_crimes

Not saying the guy is guilty of anything but One Nation really should vet who they hire and stay miles away from anyone who associates with or is a member or former member of the now past their use-by date major parties

PS I think you must be a closet O N supporter Brian, you post about them more often than anyone else

Really?  Do I?  I thought I posted about Islamophobia/Racism/Xenophobia/etc. far more.

The PHONies are fascinating because they are based on people who are in the minority - they base their support on their protest against civilised values - people being treated decently, fairly and of course, legally.  PHONies OTOH, based their views on their Islamophoba/Racism/Xenophobia - which are not fair or decent.

PHONies want to turn the clock back, to when Whites were king and people of Colour knew their place, out back in the woodpile or on the MIssion/Reserve.   Tsk, tsk, to thing that Australians who pride themselves on their national belief "in the fair go for all," could hold such views...   ::)

Well, they did much better than the Greens, so they did very well.

Party        Abbr  Formal Votes  %

Australian Labor Party      ALP      928,090      35.51
LNP      LNP      882,703      33.77
Pauline Hanson's One Nation      ONP      357,277      13.67
The Greens      GRN      258,842      9.90
Katter's Australian Party      KAP      59,646      2.28
Civil Liberties, Consumer Rights, No-Tolls      CR      7,071      0.27
Other Candidates            120,103      4.60

They are not concentrated in the inner city of Melbourne or Brisbane like the Greens but they are a much more important political force than the Greens.

He used Senate paper to speak about something he has no authority in or over, Soren.  Tsk, tsk, of course you'd agree with him doing that, 'cause you, like him, are an Islamophobe.   Now, I wonder what would your views be about an Indigenous Australian Senator talking about Danish migration?   Afterall, that Senator would not have authority over or even perhaps understand the valuable effort that Danish migrants (except you of course) have made to Australian society, just as Muslims have.     ::) ::)
