Controversy cultivated online before Milo Yiannopoulos tour starts in Australia

Controversy around Milo Yiannopoulos' Australia visit is being cultivated by Mark Latham's alt-right linked outfit before the internet personality has even arrived in the country.

With fewer than 1000 names on a petition to ban Yiannopoulos because the "clear risk that members of the public will react adversely to his presence", the former Labor leader has issued a call to fight the effort.

"Milo Yiannopoulos is coming to Australia in early December but anti-free speech extremists want to stop him from entering the country," Latham posted on Facebook. "He criticises lunatic feminists, cultural Marxists, Islamists and the politically correct. And that's why they want to keep him out."

In making his pitch to the public, Latham posted the link "Don't Ban Milo", which was purchased by Rebel News Network only five days after the tour was first publicised, in other words, before any sizeable outrage built.

From what I see of him, I don't actually think he believes anything of what he says. But its a great way to make a career as it is as a TV pundit, be an anti-gay gay, be an anti-left leftist.

He's not anti gay

Opposition to SSM doesn't make him anti gay

but he is anti left & anti PC

being gay doesn't put him in the leftist category.

How melodramatic Smithy

might it be that despite him being gay

he actually has views contrary to wht you want him to have?

He is not an "anti gay" gay.

So your comparison to a self loathing white is irrelevant.

Nope, comparison is valid based on predetermined rules set by the forums racists.
It's exactly what you all do. Someone opposes racism and it's irrelevant that  they're not anti white, all the racists here call them anti white anyway. So don';t cry now when it's applied back at you.

Proving some of his claims incorrect.

I, and most other progressives, support people expressing their views, as long and we can debate them on the same level, and in a mature way.

As Bojack said, Milo deserves an education.

The tendency for the suppression of information or idea – in this case Yiannopoulos himself – to actually generate more interest and publicity among the public.

Milo could be the spark we require to engage the wider community to end the disparity between men and women. By seeing the worst, it can then be rejected by the majority.

You apply the racism tag, bigot tag to anyone that doesn't think like you.

Calling a gay bloke "anti gay" because he doesn't support SSM is bullshyte & you know it.

He's not the only one.

As for an anti white white person ... are they race traitor?

Are you going to perpetuate the myth that only white people are racists?
