So I keep hearing how the LNP runs the economy better than the ALP.

Can anyone prove this, using facts and figures and citations?

Totally false.

Menzies wanted to stop the Snowy Scheme. Howard tried to privatise it. Turdfull has killed the NBN and with it our future prosperity. Menzies in 1949 also told CSIRO to concentrate on sheep and forget about computers. A whole industry destroyed by the stroke of a pen.

Howard blew 350Bn boom time revenue on tax cuts and pork. Think of the productive infrastructure that could have been built.

Its known as propaganda.
Most Liberal people believe that the budget is the economy.
They have no idea that in order to get a govt surplus, the govt has to run enough deficits so the non govt sector can one day go on a spending spree.

History
Mcmahon - recession
Menzies - 2 recessions
Fraser - 2 recessions
Howard - drain dollars from the economy for 9 years - household debt trebled, he set us up for disaster come the GFC.
Howard allowed foreign speculators into our property market, now your kids will be debt slaves for years longer.
Abbott - set the country back 10 years by repealing the carbon tax and the mining tax - he was booted by the IPA and the BCA.
Turnbull - reduced economic growth to 1.7%, help create the energy crisis with Abbott, did nothing about housing affordability and the dairy farmers crisis.

A govt surplus = a non govt deficit ....

Liberal voters love their drugs and big houses,... they are complete jokes and you will note that not one person in the whole of Australia reminisces about John Howard or Peter Costello anymore: not one!

Game set and match !!!

They cannot believe they voted to give their kids kids kids a copper noose in the asian century that this country actually built: they all hate themselves for that as they know they can never live it down!

Liberal voters are not as vocal as they used to be: they are simply too busy hiding in shame ;D
