Well China imports white goods from Germany And the German economy is the strongest in the EU. So you cant pull that China is cheaper line as its not always true. Besides buying everything from China we will end up being bought out by the Chinese Government sooner or later if we keep that up, China has already started buying US media and Australian Farm Land.

I dont worry about that there is always nationalisation..

are you saying China imports white goods from Germany to sell to other countries at a cheaper price than they can buy from Germany???.

it seem to me we are finished when it comes to manufacturing.. this I dont understand?????.

why have we either driven our manufacturing offshore.or sent it broke.. WHY?

someone has to take the credit for this happening..

are we really so greedy we would rather see the jobs gone forever???

or is our manufacturing so bad that no one will buy it???

lousy productivity??

I dont know seems to me things are going like ninepins.. yet we hear nothing about WHY?

....................................................................

They told it like it is in Spain and now they have a run on the banks. Besides we have to keep selling the 'Australia is the envy of the world" line, it's about national pride.

The only thing you'll hear from our government is that the unemployed don't want to work. It's called shifting the blame.

Yes pansi I think you are right, its shifting the blame.  I hear from a reliable source, that a lot of unemployed are going to be put on training courses, in the new financial year.  Not a bad idea, I hear a lot of people say.  Except I wonder how many will be counted as unemployed, while on the training courses?.  As you see, they are not really unemployed while on these things, they are classed as students.  In other words they will become -the hidden unemployed.    :(

I Dont think its a stupid statment at all, both parties have been guilty of selling us out, blaming the Libs is no excuse for Labor.

Not really we are in a perfect position to change it. but one thing we must do is increase our military.
