But Handley continued to threaten Lynn with financial ruin if she quit her job as a prostitute, she says. The couple eventually divorced. Lynn's legal claims boil down like this: Six allegations against Handley, accusing him of sex trafficking, conspiring to obstruct justice, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and fraud in allegedly falsely promising to sell his franchises and move to Las Vegas. One allegation against McDonald's, of negligent retention and supervision of an employee, namely Handley. In Lynn's negligence case against McDonald's, she will likely have to prove her injuries -- being forced into prostitution -- were reasonably foreseeable consequences of McDonald's alleged failures. A jury may find that to be a stretch. Lynn's lawsuit further describes Handley's alleged desire for a sex-change operation, and Handley's alleged love affair with a man whom he called "the love of his life." She also complains about McDonald's allegedly low wages and inferior health care plan. It's not clear how those details play into ex-prostitute Shelley Lynn's McDonald's lawsuit. Neither Handley nor the fast-food company could be reached for comment, according to news reports.

Mostly drug addiction, that stuff costs a small fortune and you won't earn that sort of money with a 9 to 5 job.

Watched a late night Court case in the US regarding McDonalds Manager assaulting via bullying/coercing one his young female members. Some even caught on tape.

I read an article called pink slime I think it was.. its off cuts of meat put through a process that turns it into a filler for hamburger..its a multimillion business in where else?.. America.!!.

the business is going out of business due to bad publicity about its business...

The WORST aspect of the USA is the 2-tiers of "justice"
Being acquitted as "not guilty - beyond reasonable doubt" in a criminal court is NOT the end of the matter


The "civil court trial" - which follows - delivers a verdict based on how much money you can "put up" for legal representation

The CRIMINAL system is built on "presumed innocence" and PROOF OF GUILT
The CIVIL system is built on "presumed guilt" and PROOF OF INNOCENCE


In a CIVIL TRIAL, the plaintiff RARELY loses - and is ALSO awarded the "costs" of legal expenses

The "innocent party" ( ... in the CRIMINAL court) is now GUILTY in the "money court" ... and up for potential MILLIONS in penalties


It IS happening in Australia, at a RAPIDLY increasing frequency

I might go into McDonalds next time and order a McHooker with extras......   :P
