How am I wrong Abu? I asked a question. I did not make a claim. Why are my questions always wrong?

You were wrong for questioning it.

Abu, could you please explain why it is wrong to ask questions?

If Islam is the truth as muslims claim then why do they need to silence all debates?

If Islam was the truth then surely it could withstand all scruitiny!

As we see it crumbles when placed under ANY scruitiny thats why they silence all debates.

It is actually 'verbotten', BY ISLAM for moslems to to ask 'difficult' questions, i.e. to ask 'difficult' questions concerning their own faith.

Within all ISLAMIC jurisdictions, IT IS ACTUALLY UN-LAWFUL for anyone, including moslems scholars, to question or scrutinise critically 'proper', established ISLAMIC doctrines.

Those moslems within ISLAMIC jurisdictions, with the temerity to challenge, nay to simply question, the established ISLAMIC paradigm are often summarily killed [by good moslems] for 'revealing' their 'unbelief'.

To all good moslems the contents of the Koran are regarded as the direct words of Allah, and therefore its contents direct the daily lives and actions of all good moslems.

"We sent not a messenger, but to be obeyed..........they can have no (real) Faith, until they make thee judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance against Thy decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction."
Koran 4.064, 65

"O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).
Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not:
For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb,- those who understand not."
Koran 8:20-22

"O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger, and make not vain your deeds!..."
Koran 47:33-35

"O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble.....
Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith."
Koran 5.101

Precisely Baronvonrort.

Abu, would tell you that ISLAM does not silence all debates about ISLAM.

The truth is that ISLAM does seek to silence those debates which are in any way critical of ISLAM.

The truth is that ISLAM does seek to silence those debates which too closely scrutinise ISLAM and its doctrines [i.e. where the truth about what ISLAM is, WHEN IT IS REVEALED IN DEBATE, is deemed to be 'insulting' to moslems and ISLAM].

THE TRUTH IS THAT;

ISLAM is not a 'religion'.
...certainly, not in any 'Western' sense of the word!

ISLAM is a vicious, un-reformable, political tyranny.

ISLAM is essentially a political entity, which uses OPPRESSION, and TERROR, and INTIMIDATION,
...but not truth, and not merit, to maintain its authority over those people who have previously embraced it.

fd, I think even you have the grey matter to know I was not saying it's wrong to question in general, but in that particular case, where it's a clearly known historical fact.

This is typical of your arguments isn't it...

What is a clearly know historical fact? I bet you most science graduates would not even know about it.

And this still does not explain why I am wrong to ask the question, even if it is a specific question.
