The result in Israel is predicted to be so close that even the 53,000 Israelis expected to fly home to vote – just 0.7% of eligible voters – could prove decisive.

The Israeli Central Elections Committee has counted all votes, including those cast by military personnel.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling bloc is in the lead, with the opposition trailing somewhat behind; however, neither side has secured the majority required to form a government.

The strategy for the Prime Minister’s supporters is now to keep their own coalition intact while beginning to negotiate with individual lawmakers from the opposition camp. No. I have not been listening to Netanyahu's radio broadcast. All I know of Netanyahu is that he relies on ancient history of the Holocaust to justify attacks against Palestinians.

Whenever a suicide bomber does his deed, Israel goes about demolishing the houses of the suicide bomber's family. All that does is make an innocent family or two homeless, where they resort to more retaliatory attacks. You cannot punish a suicide bomber after he has died. Punishing the family for the act of the suicide bomber leads to more violence.

I would prefer Israel over Palestine. But Netanyahu is not winning any new friends by attacking random Palestinians.
