Israel is deadlocked:

According to a Channel 12 exit poll projection, neither major political bloc has secured a 61-seat majority, leaving the challenger bloc with 52 seats, the current coalition with 50, and Arab parties with 18. This projected deadlock leaves Israel in deep political instability.

It will now take weeks of intense coalition negotiations to try to assemble a government. If these talks fail, parliament will dissolve, forcing yet another snap election.

Practically speaking, this gridlock will not cause a sudden "yes" or "no" shift in how Israel targets Iran. The caretaker government retains full legal command over the military and Mossad, ensuring tactical strikes and defense operations proceed uninterrupted.

The real impact is that a deadlocked leader loses the domestic backing needed for a massive strategic escalation. While routine defense continues, launching a full-scale, unprovoked war becomes far harder when the leadership is consumed by its own political survival.

Powerful people are now cornered, desperate animals. Jared Kushner, Netanyahu, Trump, etc. will all likely perpetrate false flag attack. That's my belief.

Israel is a jewish state and Jews want it to remain a Jewish state.

Al the Arab Parties advocate the dismantling of Jewish settlemsnts in Judea and Samaria (they were dismantled in Gaza to disastrous effect) and the return of Palestinians and their descendants to Israel. This latter would end Israel as a Jewish state (which is the aim of all the Arab parties) so it is an unacceptable demand.

Scenario 2: A national unity government

Another option would see the implosion of the two blocs in favor of a unity government. Netanyahu’s Likud party would certainly be involved, along with some of his existing coalition partners, as well as – crucially – at least one party from the opposition bloc.

Netanyahu, in this case, is believed to be willing to part ways with his far-right National Security Minister Ben-Gvir – but not from far-right Finance Minister Bezazel Smotrich and the ultra-Orthodox parties.

Eisenkot, however, has ruled out sitting with Netanyahu, and it would be seen by many Israelis desperate to see the back of ‘Bibi’ as an act of betrayal if he were to change his mind.

Scenario 3: A Netanyahu bloc government with defectors

Another scenario could see Netanyahu encouraging defections from opposition parties or individual lawmakers.

But all four opposition bloc party leaders – Eisenkot, Bennett, Liberman and Yair Golan – have declared they will not sit with him. And with Netanyahu’s bloc a full eight seats short, persuading eight individual defectors sets a high bar.

Scenario 4: Another election

Whoever gets the nod will have 28 days to complete the job, with a possible 14-day extension if needed.

If it all comes to nothing, the president will ask a second leader to have a go. They get 28 days only to sort it out.

After that, a majority of Knesset members could ask the president to task a third candidate, who then has 14 days to build a coalition.

If none of these produce a breakthrough, there will be another election.

For Netanyahu’s opponents, meanwhile, the election result can be described as a major failure. Despite the investment of vast resources and the involvement of influential American consultants, the bloc failed to even come close to a majority—leaving them with nothing ahead but internal infighting.

And even as it leads in the vote count, Netanyahu’s Likud party claimed that Tuesday’s election was “stolen” by Arab parties and asked Israeli authorities to investigate. It did not provide specific evidence to support its claims. The elections committee has said that reports about irregularities were much lower than in previous elections.
