There's going to be a bloodbath if DL doesn't win this one. We could well be facing - I don't want to say it, but it's not good. You know what they mean by a bloodbath, right?
Turns out he meant car sales would go down. Whoever would have thought? |

Paki, This is dialectics. It’s very simple dialectics: one through nine, no maybes, no supposes, no fractions. You can’t travel in space, you can’t go out into space, you know, without like, you know, with fractions! What are you going to land on: one quarter, three eighths? What are you going to do when you go from here to Venus or something? That’s dialectic physics, okay? This is the way the world ends. Look at this sh!t we’re in man. Not with a bang, but with a whimper, and with a whimper, I’m splitting, Jack. |

Trump is not dependent on congress and the senate. The Republicans have both houses but have not enacted any sweeping legislative program. Trump will just do what he has always done after next Tuesday. |

That may be true while the Guardians of Pedophiles (GOP) have control of both Houses. It won't be the case when the Dems retake the House, and possibly also the Senate. That will bring his entire legislative agenda to a grinding halt and will see real oversight of his corruption and incompetence and that of his cabinet members because he won't have his GOP squad to run their protection racket for him, especially Mike Johnson. :) |

An excellent point as ever, dear boy. Perhaps the Dems will take Mike's lead and shut Congress, block all legislation and stop all those pesky bills getting through. Godspeed, Mr President, they can say. You keep signing those EOs. Unitary executive theory, innit. I'm sure that when the new Congress and Senate gets sworn in, DL can just keep calm and carry on being awesome. The DL Kennedy Centre, the USS DL, the DL Victory Monument, DL Penn Station, the DL Atlantic Ocean. Promises made promises delivered, no? |

This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect. "Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage. You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail. Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates. Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you. And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban in Afghanistan thanked you very much for losing again. |

The big fella is old
Fat He's had all the sex, ate all the big macs, earned all the cash. What is there left to do? I think Trump looks at the chodes, like gweggy and karnsl and the millions of other sooky Whiney haters who do nothing , risk nothing , contribute nothing. And he thinks. " these little mean people want me in an orange jump suit . Humiliated. Well ( he says with a wry smile ) F them. I am going to end their safe comfortable world. I am the Evolutionary blowtorch sent from above to demolish their useless worthless existence. Trump is like that brutal instructor at a Marine recruit camp who is going to extract pleasure from watching you squirm and sweat and suffer. Personally, I welcome the challenge. See you on the obstacle course, it's going to be awesome. Sadistic donny reporting for duty. So empowering ;) |

I know, right? Ukraine's Starlink is still slowed down. The ICE raids - still going on. The Colombian fishermen - still getting double tapped. And after he loses the mid-terms he'll still be starting more endless wars. Cuba, Panama, Greenland, Canada. He's literally offering military contractors like Elon and Peter Thiel first dibs. Sadistic Donnie doesn't report for duty, dear. You report to him. Yes, Master. |

Donald Trump will never be a lame duck
Of all the rotten clichés in American political discourse, ‘lame duck presidency’ is arguably the worst. Who really believes that, stripped of his congressional majority, Trump will suddenly be restrained? For all his failures, the current occupant of the White House is less maimed and more popular than the denizens of Capitol Hill. A poll earlier this year put the approval rating for Congress at 10 per cent, which makes Trump’s 36 per cent job-approval score look rosy. Americans despise Congress for being dysfunctional. Trump understands that, which is why he’s barely ‘worked with Congress’ at all in his second term. It’s too BORING, as he would say on social media. The only truly significant bicameral legislation Trump has passed in the first two years of his second term has been his precious One Big Beautiful Bill, which he signed into law last year. And he deliberately made that a one-and-done act, globbing together all sorts of different spending measures under the OBB header in order to avoid the tedium of having to go through more procedural motions. On almost everything else, from tariffs to tackling crime and DEI, from ‘unleashing American energy’ to protecting the border, he’s blasted out Executive Orders. Trump barely entertained the notion of seeking legislative approval before starting his war on Iran, and has since simply ignored various war-powers resolutions from Congress. It would be quite an extraordinary volte-face if he now transformed into a meek constitutionalist for his last (we think) 27 months in the White House. The Spectator |

If I were you, old boy, I'd hardly be signalling DL's legislative legacy. He's never done legislation because, in his own words on healthcare reform, it's all too hard. This time round, he hasn't even got the greybeards to do the job for him. Anyway, he's only interested in ballrooms, renaming buildings and starting endless wars. But don't be so silly. Congress can reverse every tariff, military appropriation and big beautiful bill with the votes of two chambers. He's not the meek constitutionalist. We'll leave that job to Congress, thank you very much. Freddy Gray, eh? Who he? Gray was appointed as the deputy editor of The Spectator in 2014. He is the founding editor of the Spectator's world edition and later spear-headed the introduction of its print edition. He expressed a desire that it should not contain any strong bias concerning the presidency of Donald Trump and eschew any attempt to exert influence over the future of American conservatism Freddy's gone from the Catholic Herald to the American Conservative. Now he's at the Spectator, he's all oo-er, why bother with all that conservative rot? Yes, Master. |

Well, Freddy is not an avowed Paki, so that's a huge plus over you. Anyway, wee paki, the POINT, wee paki, is that Trump has not relied on his Congress or Senate so far. Do you get that point, paki? Or does that elude you like the charm of women eludes you in favour of trousers? You dont mind me identifying you as a homosexual, do you. It's the paki that rankles, no?? Scots homosexual then. Better? |

How drunk are you, old boy? DL has relied on his Congress and Senate not to stop his tariffs, wars and God knows what else. Not sure if they have power over the White House, but who knows? They may even be able to stop his redecorating. You don't mind us identifying you as a decaying corpse, do you? SLANDER !!! |
